anyone has led under the hood if so can you post pic and wire set up

Yes sir. I put a couple of 10 watt led's under my hood wired to a marine switch. I wired mine so that the switch only turns them on if the ignition is also on. Didn't want to run the risk of brushing the switch and have them on all the time. Here are some pictures of mine. I will also add that I am considering getting a couple of KC circular LED's to replace the two I have in order to put out more light.

The pictures were taken inside my garage, garage lights off, and using only the under hood LED's. The LED's themselves are license plate LED's I found on EBay's site. I placed the switch in a position where there was already a hole - just had to make it a little larger. They are better than nothing but, like I said, I plan to replace them with something brighter.

Ron u talking bout those led round lights from KC? I saw one a while back on a buddy's truck he put only one n to me its not that bright i think you would need 2 IMO... see if you can test one before buying jus a heads up

nice that you all you did was wire it to the positive and a ground on the truck
