Looking for opinions and ideas on where to buy and what to buy in Canada?

my wife wants brighter headlights and fog lights. And while I could just buy some basic replacement bulbs for the headlights to give a slight increase in brightness, I’m taking her suggestion and going to upgrade the entire truck :). This way it’s her idea lol.

That being said. I still would like to get the best bang for my buck and be as bright as I legally can, inside and out.

Is buying stateside (like headlight revolution) the best option? Or is there a better place in Canada?

I don’t care if it’s OEM or not either.

    Thanks in advance :)

Edit. Oh. My wife’s truck is a black 2014 Platinum.

I like the simplicity of headlight revolution. Used them for everything except the actual headlight bulb. I did HID retros for that. Hindsight I would prob go with the Morimoto headlights due to time and cost involved with HIDs. No complaints at all with the rest of the LEDs though. Had a switchback bulb go out and they replaced it immediately with no issues. Even if you dont buy bulbs from them, use their install videos.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
OEM 2018 LED Headlights, Secondarily LEDs bellow headlights and Baja Design yellow fogs.

Just ideas... good luck with your search of lighting options.

I think the best bang for your buck will be OEM Toyota LEDs 2018-present for the headlights (you’ll need a harness from @iHacker) and Baja Design SAE fog lights. Others here are happy with the diode dynamics fog lights but I don’t have personal experience with those.

For the interior I used these and have been happy with them.

Wow! Thank u all! This is exactly what I need :)

so. Is it safe to say the OEM headlights are really the best value for looks and brightness? I called a local Toyota dealer for prices. Apparently there are 4 different types for 2018. $375 each for one type. And the other 3 types were $515 each. He couldn’t help me much about the differences. Lol. Do these prices seem on par with what everyone pays?

I think HR sells an OEM set for $700 US.

ok. I’ll head over shortly :)

    LMAO. Apparently I should. Lol

I’ve seen these. Are they better than the other places to get leds? How’s shipping to Canada?

Ya. That’s WAY better! I’ll message Roman. But how does the shipping and duty affect it?

It looks like you are off to a great start.

Another suggestion for visibility; Replace your Reverse and Brake/Tail lights with LED's. They are brighter. Suggested brands are great, I have had great luck with Phillips and Sylvania from Amazon. Also get Red colored LED's for the Brake/Tail lights. White ones will look orange thru the lens.

Signals bulbs are often replaced as well but better bulbs with extra resistance is needed to prevent "Hyper-Flash"

    Good Luck!
