Either way, it's gunna be about a grand, methinks. I'm having a hard time deciding.

    What say you?

You can see I've added the chrome mirror caps and handles, in the meantime. I like that it stands out less than the black, and ties in with the badging. I do still feel the color matched would be a further upgrade, especially with the Colormatched Grill.

But, that's all aesthetic. Lights are functional. There's a part of me that says form follows function. And, on this truck, the chrome ain't so bad.

You can see why the collective wisdom of this forum is necessary here.

Function over form....the chrome looks pretty good on your truck especially with the wheels. I normally don't like chrome, but the chrome on my Cement is growing on me as well. Of the two options go with the LEDs.

If your lights are currently not performing to your liking do that first. If they work go color matched imo:thumbsup:

I voted BD fogs. I am trying to find the pictures now so I can see if I want to jump on that group buy and just stick those lights in my fog pockets for now and just save up to get either the xl80's or another set of squadron pros for the a pillars since I would already have the brackets, harness and switch.

I didnt like the way my original post read. So I am re-phrasing.. I am never that curt.

I like the whiteness of LED's I have installed many on my truck (but not the headlights).

I think it is a stretch to say the LED's are simply safer than the halogens. I have been blinded so many times by LED or HID headlights with bad beam patterns (some are BAAAAD), that I decided not to do the LED upgrade myself. I replace my stock halogens with some that were brighter, but they still have the desired beam pattern. I might change my mind.. but for $30 I am happy with the boost I got for now and I dont feel like I am impacting other drivers. ( I live in the country where there is not a lot of ambient light at night)

Those super white and bluish LED headlights can be a real problem for other drivers. If you go the LED route, please be careful of the beam patterns.

I have oem 18 led headlights. They don’t blind. No glare. I don’t like that stuff too.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Do both...Just pick one, then do the other later. The mod bug bite is not that bad... it just requires scratching ever so often.

I started with the grill, then wrapped the bulge and mirror caps. This past week I wrapped the front end caps and door handles, and installed some BD Squadrons. Here's some before and afters.
