FWIW, this is another similar case but I think I have the actual problem you're facing - and it's not the windshield. Bear with me through one more post.

Green truck I posted above is a '98 Sierra. That said, truck is a truck, a lot of modern vehicles are pieced together the same, so don't discount based on that alone.

Yours is coming in while driving, that's weird, but also an 'AHA!' for me. That it's entering at the A-pillars makes me think the source could be your roof channel, or even better yet, from your side trim, and have nothing to do with your windshield.

Just give this a shot before you pull the headliner - or don't, just skip to the possible solution below. Your call.

Get some clear packing tape like I mention above. Tape both roof channels like you see here, and make sure there's a 1" overlap ONTO the windshield, making it impossible for water to enter that channel.

If you're still leaking while driving, do the same across the top of the windshield seal, from passenger A-pillar to driver A-pillar, like this:

If you rule out the above, you know 100% this probably has nothing to do with your windshield.

That said, what I think your actual problem is based on your symptoms.

If your leaks persist while driving, I believe water is entering from BELOW the roofline and your issue could be what Professional Hand Model pointed out in THIS POST, with the side channel trim, along the windshield, specifically you may be having water enter through the "TAB HOLE" he higlights in that pic.

Sorry to beat a dead horse on this brother, just trying to help you save some money and frustration. It would really suck to replace your windshield only to find the problem is still there, if it is the trim, or something similar, sort of like the 1st guy I linked in this reply.

I use electrical tape over mine but just overlapping the top edge of the seal to keep water out. So ghetto. lol

Nope — opposite, does not leak while driving — just drove 250 miles yesterday in the rain, not a heavy rain but rain — dry interior

it leaks while parked, can drip through the eyeglass holder hinges while truck is sitting — doesn’t seem to leak from a pillar until driving and making turns — water is pooling somewhere interior roof — it’s high, has to be for the leak to show at the eyeglass holder while motionless

I did get a brief look at it today, no visible seams at roof to A pillar — no other pillar till rear window — just 1 big rubber seal along both doors — thats not gonna bring water to the eyeglass holder initially

what baffles me is the headliner has no visible water damage and has never been wet to the inside of the cab

gonna definitely investigate this more this coming week, I finally have the time to lay up the truck for awhile

I do appreciate the input, even if it sounds like I’m not listening, I am

    thanks

Mine only leaks after heavy downpours but not immediately; typically the next day if I don't have the tape.

Tape is awesome for locating and curbing leaks interim :) I just like packing tape b/c of the wide coverage and its clear, so easy to spot any gaps/bubbles/bumps that would allow water in, and not so ghetto looking from 5ft out.

My last leak on the green truck was only while stationary, while parked with the driver side higher than the passenger (i.e. on the side of the road). Drove me completely f'ing nuts trying to find it.

    What vehicle is this?

I'm chasing a leak currently. Started with my headliner by mirror being wet and water draining down my sunglass holder into my cupboard oder, where it was enough to pool. I had the windshield changed in June and the leak stopped. Dude told me he had to clean up some rust along the windshield and roof line. Now just a week or two ago I noticed the slightest leak by the driver A-pillar.

    It was a ‘98 Sierra.

check PHM’s reinvestment build thread for a view of the A-pillar minus trim so you can see if it’s your culprit. Meanwhile, I can’t recommend clear packing tape enough to tape over seams if the leak is higher up.
