    This is the WDH I use and highly recommend (Equal-i-zer 10k lb rating). Towed the same trailer (5500lb dry, 30ft total length) with chain style with added "sway control", then with Equal-i-zer, it's a night and day difference. Equal-i-zer makes truck and trailer feel as if they are one solid unit, if that makes sense. Been towing with it for 10 years now and it's been solid.

    No... those are not made for that kind of load, and I don't think you want a lift while unloaded either.

    Check with Boise Spring. They build add-on leaf packs to your specs, and they are cheaper.

    Or... assuming that you aren't hauling a load all the time... why not airbags?
