Interesting. It's not just Toyota- as noted, but just about all manufacturers.

My wife's fj cruiser had a weird smell comin out of it and she said it smelled like somethin died. I thought maybe a mouse or snake from the field and this confirms. Gonna mod a mouse trap to it, haha

I have my daily, 05 Trailblazer parked on one side of my Tundra, and my 14 VW Passat on the other side. The rats tear up the VW, wires, windshield reservoir, brake lines. Never any issue with the other two. Hate the VW anyways, obviously rats agree.

So stupid that it went as far as class action lawsuit. People will sue over anything for free money.

All vehicles are susceptible in high rodent areas.
Soon it will be the home builders responsibility because they didn't make the garage inpenitrable.

LOL really??? How can a company be held responsible for animals getting into vehicles? I get the "soy based insulation" but isn't that what insurance is for, especially living in the middle of farmland county? I lived in rural "country ya'll" Louisiana before coming up here and never had a problem. As long as man has had things to get into, animals have always found a way or made a way to screw with things! It's called Mother Nature with a dash of "shit happens". Been around before mankind and will be around well after!

Couldn't have said it better myself. We'll see what happens.

Louisiana, huh. I heard that's where the toothbrush was invented. Anywhere else it would have been called the 'teethbrush'....

Good news ,I was born in Texas in Dec 1955, my dad was transferred to MCAS Quantico when I was 3 months old in 1956. Technically my balls were still forming back then. Good thing I "read" PlayBoy at 4 months to get things figured out.

That's cool, but at least I have a 5.7L., two kids, 5 grandkids and counting, not a ball less 4.6L

don't need no overcompensation over here, old man. I guess it's better to be over the hill than under it, right?

Since we are on topic... I could use a good Cajun blackened fish recipe. On topic.. Teach your kids how to use a BB gun for starters. [IMG]

You are correct..I do drive "over the 13000ft hills." I avoid mall crawling that's down south. (I thrive on sarc. )

One thing that we can agree on, if you haven't shot at least a squirrel with a BB gun by the time you're 4, you ain't from the south or Texas for that matter!!

Blackened fish. It's real simple mix thyme, salt, pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper, paprika, and dry mustard in a bowl. Pat mix on filets, heat up a cast iron skillet on high for a few mins, pour 3/4 Cajun butter (definitely makes a difference than regular butter). Plop filets on skillet, flip when one side is charred and take off when other side is done and enjoy! (Mac and cheese is considered a vegetable down here FYI) LOL

Best way to find out if you have balls is to enlist in the Marine Corps.

Oh, man. I swear you haven't tasted butter until you've tasted Cajun butter. I inject that in my thanksgiving turkeys and fry them. Makes a WORLD of difference!!

Doy I meant marinade them in Cajun butter overnight and put regular butter in the skillet
