    Great job lvpd

Its tough to make a flawless reload in competition much less when being shot at and having to scan for threats. he did very well shooting, moving and communicating, into cover while fumbling the mag and quickly getting that gun back in the fight.

it will make a great training video for current and future generations of LEOs

    stay safe guys!

I know some cops have a shotgun mounted up in the front seat, looks like that guy didn't. Would have came in handy, instead of reloading just grab the shotgun and start unloading into that guy's car.

Still I'm blown away with how steady his nerves were and his excellent marksmanship. I can't hit the side of the barn with a 9mm Glock, that he manages to hit the suspect in the other car while driving blows my mind.

We do train shooting through windshields and shooting into windshields. This brother handled fuckin business, hats off to him to ensure he and his other brothers/sisters went home at the end of the shift.

Same goes for the OK officer who handled business like a boss. These assholes shooting at officers got what they deserved, no question. I hope if I’m faced with a similar situation, I have 1/2 the nuts these guys did.

We also trained shooting through windshields but never while driving. That was BA. We had hearing protection and the blast/concussion was still disorienting. Hats off to any brother in blue that survives a gun fight. God Bless him.

Every time I’ve been to Vegas, the LVMPD cars I’ve seen had some sort of long gun mounted up front. Some had two. However, hauling ass and getting shot at doesn’t leave much time to unlock the long gun and go to work.
