I can verify that a 295/65/20 Michelin Defender LTX Platinum aired down to 20 PSI WILL NOT FIT in Spare Tire Location for 24 1794. Just tried to get it to fit for the last hour, hits the pan bar and hitch will not go past it. So now gotta figure out what I am going to do for a full size spare.

Thank you! Unfortunately my Falken wild peak AT4w doesn’t fit without rubbing on the pan hard bar. I looked into it and that Toyo is dimensionally 34.5” and my Falkens are actually 35”. I lose that 1/2” that you have to spare. Now I need to figure out what to do with my 5th wheel set up… IMG_1805.jpg

I was considering trying the Falkens next time around so this is good too know. Thanks for sharing and let us know what you come up with as a solution for the spare.

If you can find a cheap 17" wheel, a 285/75-17 tire is close to being a skinny 35. But 285 vs 295 isn't much width change so as far as how much it hangs down, not sure if you could even see the difference. For clearing other parts though, 10mm difference might be enough?

Will a 18 nitto fit on spare to replace 18 stock tire. Just wondering because the nitto has a more aggressive tread pattern

I just dropped the pressure down to 10PSI and it fits. It’s a pain to get it to raise at the perfect angle, but once you get it there is about a 1/4” clearance. I can take some pics if you are still considering.

I’m actually considering the Falkens since I’ve had them in the past. What size wheel/tire are you running? I’m planning on doing the 285/65R20 falkens and the width is technically 34.6 so wondering if that’ll clear it without lowering the PSI.

did you ever get this setup up and running? Were you able to clear the spare without issues?

What did you end up doing for a spare? I have 35x11.5R18 Falkens but I'm not sure the full size spare will fit. I have seen someone fit a 285/75R18 though.

I just dropped the PSI to 10 and it fits. I carry a Milwaukee inflator.

315/70/17 BFG KO2 fits. Tech at Discount said it wasn’t easy but it fit.

Did you end up doing a 285/65/20? If so, did it fit?
