Saw something tonight I’ve never seen before. Went outside my backyard and saw four jets fly at very high altitude about a quarter mile apart. Well then as I kept looking I realized that there were more than four. They continued to pass over at the same interval for at least 20 minutes. Now mind you I don’t know if I saw the first one or not. I watched for a while, went in and got my wife to come look (it’s cold and she was not interested) I finally went inside and shit you not ate a piece of pie and ice cream. Went back out and saw the last two pass over. My conservative guess is 50 - 75 at least while I was watching. Not in formation a straight line. Any Air Force folks out there can explain? One of the strangest things I’ve ever seen

Where abouts you located? Which direction were they moving? At what time was this?

My neighbor and his wife were Air Force, I will ask him in the morning.

Just got the answer from a Wyoming photography group I belong to. Elon Musk launched 60 satellites recently. Just saw them all pass over. Heard jets but there was other air traffic. Amazing.

I’m in Jackson Wyoming. Moving west to East. Many folks in Wyoming saw them as well

In 50 years we're going to have efforts to clean up space from trash the way we do our oceans now.

Our “town” is basically only here because of the AFB. It’s pretty cool to see all the planes flying over daily, we also have the bone yard, which is epic in a manor I can’t describe.

Yeah it's part of his StarLink satellites, his plan is using them to create global internet service.

He has had 4 successful launches....242 satellites in total are already in space. His last 2 launches had 60 each and he had to paint them black to please the star gazers of the world.
