Typically I have run yellow fog lights. In my 4th gen 4runner, I used the Lamin-x film, stock bulbs. After a few years the film looks like it has burnt from the heat of the fog lights. Burn looking discoloring for sure. Id just replace the film but that adhesive is a mess to try and get off.

I would like to have yellow fogs on my Tundra, but am now hesitant about the film. Id rather not replace the bulbs, the aftermarket yellow fog bulbs I have seen are super bright, and overpower the headlights...they just dont seem to match well together.

Anyone use it on a 3rd gen Tundra? Good results or did the film burn? Any other yellow bulb options that match well with the stock halogen headlights?

Are the fog lights LED on the 4runner? On my '19 Limited the fogs are LED. LED bulbs will generate much less heat, making films like Lamin-X a good option.

Try windex to get off the adhesive. It worked when I removed some old window tint and didn’t want to buy special adhesive remover

Rx350 retrofitted, Morimoto Led fogs. interior and exterior leds swap. TRD drop in filter. Carbon filter delete. Led DRL panels. TRD Shift knob.
I had the yellow laminx on my morimoto led fogs for sometime. Removal was quite easy. Heat gun or hair dryer. Heat up a little bit as you peel it off. Super easy. No residue.
