I have seen huge differences in alignability from truck to truck. Think the only logical choice is adjustable heims, just makes a ton of sense. Taking them off to adjust does not.
I possess the same skill set. It is painful $.:(

So. Much. This. Love my Camburgs and I loved the Icons on my FJ but, holy crap, alignments were not fun. Finding someone that can keep dialed is key.

793A6976-0EB2-4F75-8B37-02870C9ADA1B.jpg I called camburg and asked for their alignment specs for performance UCAs. The said camber= 0/-1 caster= Max positive and factory toe. I tried that. The guy who aligned it said it wasn’t going to work and pull to the right.... it did. I took it back and just said make it drive straight. I might have to drive to Huntington Beach and have camburg do it. Here’s my settings

You need more caster on the right, ie= L 6.0 R 6.4, it pulls to the side with less caster. Even out the toe favoring as low a value as comfortable with, and it should drive nice.

@Vizsla it pulled to the right... I took it back and it’s good now but I didn’t check the settings. I need to go someplace that knows how to align trucks with aftermarket UCAs. These guys kept calling my coilovers a lift kit.

@JH6124 How are you enjoying your setup? Did you get the alignment sorted out? Any issues with the Kings?

They ride really nice, I do still have the issue of the tie rod hitting at full turn and rubbing the lower blue cup. I took the truck back and had it aligned and said just make it go straight. I’m still waiting on the rear bypasses. The text yesterday said they will be assembled this week. I don’t k ow what the fix will be from king on the rubbing issues.

It sounds like all the 3.0 systems (King, Icon, ADS) suffer from the tie rod problem.

I don't think there would be a problem with ADS if you use Matt's UCAs? Not sure though. Didn't @TRD15559 have that already straightened out when we were in DV?

I thought he had the problem and you guys were explaining to him that he might be able to fix it with adjusting the heims on his UCAs.

Hadn’t heard of ADS having that issue, and had only heard of it once with Icon (@joonbug). Is it really that common?
