I’ve seen a brand called inter chiller mentioned before. I’ve also seen it said that the tundras cycle the AC compressor off during WOT so it’s not doing much in that scenario. Don’t know if that’s true though.

Lol. I ghetto sprayed the intercooler(scared to hit the intake) on one of my 6.0 Powerstrokes during a dyno pull, helped little bit. Never seen anyone spray an air to liquid cooler though.

I meant spray into the intake, then you get the full effect of massive cooling and more oxygen, but your method would work too :D

I’m curious how much lower the IATs would be if we lowered the percentage of glycol in the intercooler loop from 50% to 30 or 40%. Just have to make sure there is adequate freeze protection. It would also lower the IC pump amperage a little.

I guess that would answer more quickly if it is at all worth the effort of mixing to a lower percentage lol.

    Thank you.

It doesn't look like they support Tundra (or Toyotas for that matter).

Regarding WOT I read the same thing but I haven't seen it confirmed. Easy enough to test. <smashes pedal> "Is it getting warmer in here?"

I had the KC on a blown Silverado I had. Went through 2 compressors in 2 years and only drove it about 3k miles per year.

Just a thought, wouldn't be easier if a small metal box is build that clamps onto the IC hose? so we can just add ice to it at the track?

Yeah I had a 1.5 gallon tank on my Magnacharger on my Silverado. The thing was you had to siphon out a portion of the water/glycol mix before you added the ice, then you had to hurry up and wait to stage at the line before the ice melted. It never worked out well for me. The 40 gallon cooler in the bed was a better way to do it really. Leave about 10 gallons of water in it, throw 2 bags of ice in it, get in line and it was cold for several runs. Of course then you may need more pump, etc....

In regards to a lower percentage glycol, I've seen a few different studies where straight water out performed everything else

I guess the only reason we even use the additives is to prevent freezing. performance wise water is were it's at.

I have also heard of "water wetter" being used with straight water, but I don't know anything about it personally.

Throw a frozenboost.com heat exchanger on in conjunction with the OE heat exchanger...fairly inexpensive...I haven't read any poor things about it...

Don't under estimate the benefits of spraying the intercooler. I inadvertently did this by running through a touchless car wash, temps plummeted significantly. While in the tunnel they dropped well below ambient and took a while to jump back up once on the highway.

May be able to mount them one below the other parallel to the ground, looks like the 101 has mounting points below and above. Space is tight.

I paid 885 for a kit, but they are irresponsive.
They don't pickup calls, ignoring my emails too.
5 weeks now with no luck. Any suggestions? I just need a refund!
