Not sure on halogen cost, but good luck to the seller. I've tried multiple times to sell my used ones at 250 and only ever had 1 inquiry. Once they asked me why I switched to LED and the cost I'm pretty sure I talked them into buying LED's over mine lol

It's like I really want to sell them but when it comes to safety stuff like lights and tires I just can't even tell half truths. Like the halogen lights on the Tundra are damn good, but the LED's are just so awesome.

I believe I've seen them for about $400 per side new from Toyota before taxes.

To find Toyota parts I've pretty much just use these two now:

    https://parts.scarboroughtoyota.ca/

    https://parts.sptoyota.com/

Scarborough is more thorough, but more tedious to search, it will not return results if the SKU is on back order, Sherwood Toyota will show parts that are on backorder or can't be order, and sometimes you need to have the part number to find it.

Haha, I'm the same way. My experience wasn't with Toyota, but the Hyundai beside them. I'll try crazy hard from now on to avoid that auto group, only use them as leverage when talking to other dealers.

Not many good ones around Edmonton left :rofl:I'm not overly happy with Mayfield Toyota (same owners as Country Hills in Calgary) and Gateway became like clingy exes after I sent them a message asking about a used Tundra 6 months ago, in addition to the ones already mentioned. Northwest will be my first stop for the next Toyota.

Every time my wife takes her Corolla in for service, they claim something else is broken (water pump, timing cover, etc). And they wouldn't deal on the price of a new truck.

I was happy with Gateway. They had a new 2019 advertised on their website that turned out to be sold when I went there so they gave me a 2020 for the same price.

My brother bought a used Acura RDX from Toyota on the Trail. They were neither great nor terrible. I think I didn't talk to them when shopping because they had no inventory.

Yikes, sounds like our Subaru dealership, except the sale guy was great, no BS and gets to the point, bought 3 cars from him, then service department proceed to screw everything up for us, I bought a brand new Outback back in 2017, it needed a brand new transmission within 2 days, the dealership refuse to give me a rental to drive around while they wait for new transmission, then later claim my wife's STi had electric assist steering and that's why it was making a noise instead of a power steering pump that was noisy.

I wonder if its cheaper for you guys to buy from Ontario and have the trucks shipped? I've seen some prices on Trader in Alberta and its eyes watering.

Used vehicles are just nuts out here, almost no point looking used unless you can pay straight up cash. If you're financing then new is the way to go.

Heck for about $1000 I could buy from Ontario, fly there and see my parents, then drive back. Have to remember though it's 13% tax in Ontario and only 5% in Alberta, so don't think prices are different enough to make it worthwhile.

I wonder if it can work, I'll ask my friend who owns the dealership that I buy from.

Yeah, fuck GO Auto. Crooked motherfuckers. Especially Kentwood Ford in Edmonton. I can't think of a better dealership to have a fully involved structural fire that spreads to their entire lot inventory. May they rot in the vilest depths of bloody puss spewing hell. I'm not bitter at all btw.

Too bad about Sherwood Park Toyota. I browse their site now and then when checking out prices. They seem to have some of the lower posted prices around. Gateway seems alright. Sargent Toyota in Grande Prairie has treated me right with parts and service. We bought The Woman's Corolla S from them and it was fast, painless and fair.

No idea, was very tempted to call about the truck until bunch of the stuff I ordered showed up and my wife asked what are those giant boxes.

So someone please call for my own sake.

Cross province shipping is still running, it's about 1200 to ship to Ontario, so add another 1200 to Alberta.

Now I began searching the vin# and found it was sold here:

    http://m.mccluretoyota.com/en/inven...a/4x4-tundra-crewmax-sr5-5-7l/trd-pro/5065823

I also ran it through IBC's database and couldn't find info saying it may have been reported as totalled either, if no one calls them by Monday I'll give them a ring.

I'm just curious why a 4 year truck that looks to be in good condition is being parted out. I'd only buy it if I could somehow get it for way less than I could sell my current truck for.
