Curious @DjSamthrax why did your rig need paint correction? I have a 2019 in black and already shows swirls in the clear coat and thinking of doing what you did. Looks great!

The paint is pretty shit from the factory to be blatantly honest. The subtle orange peel and irregularities are pretty easy to work out before investing in a coating. The more perfect the surface is to begin with, the better the coating will adhere and last. Do it right and do it once.

Thanks - I agree. I take great care and only hand wash my vehicles and my Tundra showed swirl marks after 1-2 washes. Granted it’s black - but still shouldn’t be showing like it is. I’ll look into the ceramic coating.

Late reply, but how's your UCA clearance with those tires? Great looking truck, BTW.

Finally back in the wild. Coating is an SPS Graphene coating which is carbon based vs a ceramic which is silicone based. Very excited to get it dirty and see how it does!

Operation gut job on the JBL system started. Was one of the lucky ones through @james@tech12volts organization. Full JL speakers, subs, amp, DSR1, and all the trimmings to get everything in place. I absolutely love music...and cannot wait to crank on this thing. @james@tech12volts has been amazing should I get stumped or have a question on anything. Final installation on Thursday when I can get some shop time

Finally got everything wired up and in place with the JL replacement system for the Tundra courtesy @james@tech12volts , which I might add provides amazing customer service to ensure you are pissing off the neighbors when you finish install.

There is some fine tuning and a lot of finishing touches to do but damn...we are loud and proud!

Casually parked next to a flat grey G63 for the day...Porsche on the other side. I felt out of place lol

I bought the 2020 Pro in Army green as well and i absolutely love the stance/height of this truck! I am on the fence about the Coachbuilder Pro kit i do want to retain the factory Pro wheels and i wanted to go 35x12.5 on BFG ko2 all terrain because i am a big BFG fan as well but the more i look at yours i am digging the mud terrain 3's. I hate how low the stock Pro sits and dealer had already installed Nitto factory size a/t tires.

As nice as the K02s are I wanted much more meat and I try to off-road once or twice a month so the choice was easy for the KM3s.

They look awesome! Love following your build i am thinking i may wait a year or so to get some wear on these tires then shoot for coachbuilder pro kit and 35's around 12-15k miles but i love the rigid amber lens covers also those look sweet!

The moody sky makes this color look so dark compared to when the sun is out on it.

Next stages are sliders and a high clearance front bumper. Also looking into onboard air and a dual battery setup for all the toys I want to add...

Parked, walking into target when I hear the automotive equivalent of nails on a chalkboard behind me. Guy in a Ram tried to cut between two vehicles parked to get to his daughter who was having lock issues on a VW. This is the result of his failed geometry
