I have a Brother who works for Kenwood. He sent me these pictures yesterday about the new Kenwood DMX1037S !0.1 Multi Media unit coming out in September. I noticed in the pictures that the Kenwood is in a Tundra. He said that was someone who also works for Kenwood and it’s a Pre-Production unit. I cannot wait to get my hands on one. There is information on Google. Search for Kenwood 10.1 and also YouTube has videos as well.

That big center knob kills it for me.

1080p resolution is a nice feature, 4 camera inputs, wireless carplay and android auto

Just wish i could afford one .... :spending:

I have been on the fence about upgrading to the Alpine Halo9, and I think this settles it for me. Love the look of this one. The 1080p resolution and volume knob is a much needed improvement over some of the competition imo. Any idea on the price?

I love the volume knob. That's one thing I hate about my alpine ILX 207. No volume knob.
Even all new cars have volume knob somewhere.

Glad I have held out on replacing my Kenwood HU on another brand's halo. I will definitely be into upgrading my DMX905S with this. Thanks for posting @19Voodoomax !

Had my eye on this one too. Ran across this video of it being demoed in Australia. Pretty good. Wish it had the more sleek thinner bezel look of the Pioneer though.

From talking with my friend yesterday there will be multiple models ranging between $1000-$1600. More details to come when it gets closer to September.

Nice head unit. Every good head unit needs a proper volume knob. Volume buttons or touch screen sucks! I want to slam that bitch up/down instantly, don’t want any lag :)

Hopefully they offer a mech less non navigation model. I'm guess the $1600 model will the kenwood reference Excelon version. I don't mind the volume knob. I think it's placed on a convenient spot. Why did they make the bezel look so tacky? It makes its lager than it is.

I think i can get used to the volume knob...I hope there is a version that doesn't take up an inch margin of the entire unit in black border.... what a waste of screen.

The screen looks too thick and bulky. The knob should've been on the left corner. I like the Daisata better for half the price.

Considering the DNX997XR is $1299.99 on Crutchfield right now it will be much more. Maybe reaching $2k.

I'd expect their xr model to be much higher tough.

I think I like the JVC better than the Kenwood. I want to be able to put the Hyperspace from Star Wars when I hit the gas pedal.
