Nice clickbait drop. Everyone wants to know why now. How long until we know?? Baited breath. Nervous anticipation. Only 3k miles?? What catastrophic event has created this?? Just wouldn’t balance? Blew out towing a heavy trailer?? Inquiring minds…..

Beat me to it I guess. If the tires are getting noisy fast, is there an alignment issue? Or just poorly matched to a heavier truck?

alignment is fine. Tires look great with even wear. The siping just opened up and started getting a bit noisier.

Well that’s a bummer. I’m about done with my KO2’s at 30k miles on them and I was looking at the LT wildpeaks. Those suckers are 2200 bucks up here :( so the thought of a cheaper alternative really appealed to me.

Interesting. Your Michelins were noisy too with wear. Love to see how the BFG’s do on your truck.

Not sure how accurate those cell phone apps are, but when the Kendas were new, I would say they were equal to the worn out Michelins. Now I could hear the constant humming in the cab.

I may use them for winter tires if I find some cheap factory take off wheels.

Personally, I probably will not step away from a Michelin, BFG, or Goodyear tire again. IMG_1467.jpg

Drive home. Pretty good in the noise department.

Since I went up in tire size, I scheduled an alignment for today.

Great tire. They are just heavy.

I went in for an alignment check today. Didn't need one and the tech said it was spot on. Funny, I've only had two alignments on this truck since new. 91,400 miles.

@ColoradoTJ If you weren’t daily driving, would you have still have switched from the Kendas?

@The Fall Guy do you still have the Kendas? Would or did you buy them again?

    Asking for a friend .

I don't daily drive my truck and they still came off. If you don't care as much about road noise they might be a good option. I will stick with BFG's or Michelin tires. Every time I deviate from this I end up kicking my own ass.

There is no dispute that Toyo At3, BFG KO2, etc are good tires. For me, I like the look and price point of the Kendas. I drive my truck about 3,000 miles per year. I will likely end up purchasing at Costco and end up with Dueler AT2. But, wanted to consider something a little different at lower cost.

If Toyota hadn’t changed the bolt pattern I would have ended up with some new take offs with new whatever tires. But, I now have a like new set of TRD wheels bought ready for some new rubber.

Look up my BFG tire review/tracking. I paid 198.00 per tire at my local Discount Tire using their own policy against them. LT275/70/18 at the time were 320+ per tire.
