Hard to say. Anywhere the material really needs to stretch, or is cut into smaller pieces, I’d say it’s more likely synthetic. The center panels are probably leather.

It may be a mixed blessing. I know a lot of creases really took their time coming out of the seats after installation. If they were 100% leather, and packed tightly into boxes for weeks/months/years, some of the creases may never come out. At least the synthetic really seems to settle onto the contours and lay flat.

Maybe an interior expert will come in and tell me I have it wrong... I tried to determine which parts were leather and which were vinyl and some places are very hard to tell.

You’ll have to post pics after you get them installed.

Here is a look at Katzkins leather content.
There is a Standard (most popular) and
    Premium as shown.
Your also have the option to order a FULL leather kit which adds $ dramatically to the price if you so choose.

Tried to design my own on the katskin site and it doesn’t have an option for diamond stitching. Am I missing something?

No it’s just that the Tekstitch (Diamond pattern) is newer than the design program. You will probably have to just search images to get an idea then call me to process or answer questions.

Hey guys question, do you know where I can get Katzskin leather without having the installer instal them? They won’t sell unless I get an instal and I saw in the threads leather unless I have their installer do it..

I installed a set in my 2012 and love them compared to the OEM, everything sticks to them, cloth overs. Downside was they were a PITA to install, but would do it again.

Question pacman, I have an appt on the 29th for install, and I happened to notice that you have heat but your seats aren't ventilated. I was on katzkin website and they said seats had to be perforated....WTF...Talk to me like I'm a third grader, because I don't know shit about any of this....Thanks

Sorry I missed this. I don’t know what he meant. The seats would need to be ventilated for COOLED seats, but the heat elements just lay between the foam seats and the inside of the new seatcovers.

They don’t get hot enough to melt the material or anything… I don’t know what your guy is talking about…

Cooled seats pump air through the seat material, which requires them to be ventilated. There should be no problem installing heating elements with the regular set of Katzkins. Alot of us have done it.

Thank you, I have no desire to have my seats perforated which are necessary for cooling but not heating, just wanted to confirm with someone that had heaters installed on non perforated seats. Katskinz states otherwise when using their "degrees" setup. I don't really need heated seats now, but will need them when I move back up north...Florida sucks ass...
