Hello! Long time reader and first time poster. Thanks to everyone on here who shares their knowledge and takes the time to post. I bought my truck last year and have done a "few" mods. Still waiting for the steering wheel and the center console, but here is my progress so far. I've done all the work myself, let me know what you guys think.....

Interior looks great. I like how you did the door panels and part above the glove box. Did you do these yourself? Are these panels easy to remove?

Thanks, I wanted more to tie in the seats and I think it's a good mix. I did do the whole install myself. The panels do come off with some dremol and then pop off each connection point. If you have leather there already, leave it on and wrap over it. I hot glued the areas I had used the dremol while applying pressure with some clamps as the glue dried.

Just want be sure I understand what you mean by Dremol. Does this mean you had to cut the door panels off at the connection points? I was hoping there was a way to do the door panel piece. My door panels seem to have vinyl with some stitching as it’s soft to the touch. I have plenty of cardinal red material left and would definitely like to do this to the door panels. It looks good.

    @DrBones - no problem :)

    Two questions:

    1. What tire size do you run?
    2. What amount of lift?

I've got an Eibach 2" lift about to go on and am contemplating what tire size to run. Would like to not lose ALL of my MPGs (lol). Currently sitting at 275/65R18; contemplating 275/70R18.

Silva, yes the side panels are melted onto the entire door. There are like 8-10 connection points. I dremoled the inside of the circle melted point out and then just popped it up and out. Fairly easy to do. Then wrap the panel. I used 3M spray on adhesive and then hot glued it all back into place.

Kung, I'm running the rough country Vertex 3.5 inch lift with icon rear spring and air bags with onboard compressor. The rear is not the issue, it's the front. I did not have to do a body mount chop. I did have to melt the front fender forward and take the mud guard off though. My tires are 35/12.5/20 bf KO2 You will have to go 3.5'' or higher to get a 35'' tire.....and as for gas milage.....oh well!

Well, in my case, it's a 'slight' lift. I wasn't/am not aiming to stuff 35's underneath it LOL. Stock tire size is 32" (275/65R18), am thinking 275/70R18 with slightly more aggressive tire type will increase tire size an inch and look fairly decent with the 2" lift.

It's pretty minimal work to get that 2'' lift, I say go for it. If you don't like it, you can always change it later. Making a change is fun and enjoying the evolution of your truck with time. I say go for it!

Anyone done Mohogony or Cognac in an Inferno Orange Crewmax?

I REALLY love the 1794 seats but I'm just not sure how it would look with the orange or if I should just stick with black

If anyone has any pics of their Katzkins and Inferno Orange truck I'd definitely appreciate the share!

    I did cognac katzkin.
It looks way less bright in person.
I also decided against perforation to keep it more durable. Also avoid the piping, because the piping is plastic it'll eventually crack.

The way I got it it'll be more durable than the true 1794 interior. 1794 has a little bit of cloth, the plastic textured pieces, and piping. I've seen high mileage 1794s that have beat up seats. The full leather I went with is probably going to wear better.

Pacific and black, nothing special as far as options, but adds a subtle custom look to the truck.

Side note, John was great to work with.

Mine is leveled with 35/12.5-18s. Had to take off mudflaps, Coachbuilder bumper shims and push the fender liner forward...IMO worth it.

How did you do your door panel and center console?

Anyone know what the typical price for installation on a Crewmax is? I had Clazzios in my 17 but I’m really liking these Katzkin.

I was recently reached out to one of the shops and he quoted me $1,600 for installation on a crew max.
