Please email me an image of what they sent so I can pass that along.
I know I ordered right off the VIS code image you had sent so this will get fixed ASAP. I do apologize.

It’s very simple you ordered the wrong one it’s no mistake I ordered BLUE and you send BLACK and I personally text you but you ignored me. I figured if I text you HERE where others can see you would reply. This is exactly what I sent you but in the box I got BLACK head rests the rest was correct but not the head rest. It’s definitely not exactly the image I sent to you clearly

He’s not saying you did anything wrong. John orders through the wholesale company or whatever and they’re the ones that do the shipping, so it sounds like they sent an incorrect component. John was always responsive over email when I needed to contact him, and my FIL and one of my buddies have both called him up and talked to him on the phone with no issues. Give him a chance to get things fixed before you put him on blast.

Lucky you!!! This is the second time I had an issue with him. First time gave him the benefit of the doubt because I understand things happen sometimes now the second time more things went wrong and he completely ghosted me and he’s only replying on this thread. I have all the texts to prove it but I’m not going to go there. The shipment was sent from his address he should check the order before shipping to a second time customer or any customer. The only reason I’m replying on this thread is because he posted today on here otherwise I would not have outed him like this. There’s a lot more to the story than you know. Just think it’s funny how quick he replies when others are watching....

I was very patient and gave him
Many many chances. Only posting on here bc he won’t reply to me any other way. Believe me I was extremely patient with both orders and paid him in full immediately.

    No savings at all unfortunately.
I then have to order through the Parts desk and prices per piece are inflated.

I would recommend John from Affordable Auto Leather very highly and bought my front and rear interior leather seats from his company and came out awesome.

His price was a 1/3 less than what the Katzkin website is, I had most of the design done with the colors and Tekstiching, and John gave me a few other ideas like adding red stitching in that area and was a pleasure to work with and seats look great and came in in about 3 weeks.

I went with heated seats too and highly recommend the Katzkin product.

Bought my 2021 Tundra loaded in March and wanted leather seats and no thing in stock with dealers, in the end glad I bought the Tundra with cloth and went with there leather interior and looks so much better.

Katzkin dealer in Shrewsbury MA Who did the installation thought this it was the best interior they ever did, and took pics and asked if they could put it on there website.

A few pics and loving the final result:

Those came out really nice. Just curious if you are willing to share what they charged you to install ? I am thinking of doing this in the fall and it would be a little bit of drive from Western MA, but might be worth it if the install price is good.

Really nice look on your truck! Congratulations. The red looks very custom and the leather looks amazing.

I what was a little over 800.00 with the two front seat heaters, and front and back seats and they did a great job.

They charge 600.00 if it’s front and back seats and no heaters, and they don’t mind if you buy the interior yourself.

Awesome, appreciate the info. I think I would do the same with regards to the heaters in the front.

Company was that did the installation and has more locations and mine was done in Shrewsbury MA, and call them and might have a location near you. They do a lot of work for car dealers too.

For those that have done this, any regrets going from cloth to leather? I’ve never had leather seats in any vehicle before, so I don’t know what to expect. However, with 2 kids and a clumsy wife who once spilled an entire soda through my 4Runner sunroof (ask me that story),I feel the need to make the change for cleaning purposes and because these seats stain so much. But I have no issue with the comfort of my seats, so I’m hesitant. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It was an all-around upgrade in comfort and clean-ability moving to these covers.

As far as the drink through the sunroof... I already know this story because my wife did the same in my old Camry.

They aren't easy to do, but so worth it when they are done. Just finished mine yesterday.

Anyone on this thread know how to remove the factory Platinum seat back covers? I’m having an issue with one of the zippers on mine and need to just take it off. Problem is, there are two white straps inside it on the door side (I think for the airbag?) and I can’t figure out how to detach them. Thanks in advance.

I ended up cutting one side of mine, but those clips *should* slide apart if you work at them long enough. They suck.

Finally got these in. Worked great on our trip to the beach. Wired up heaters for all 4 seats. Just need to connect them when it cools off a bit and add hog rings on the drivers seat bottom. Made it the whole way without a mistake until that part. Also have a console cover that matches to install from ebay. This was my 2nd time doing this and it was easier, but still ended up with sore hands and a lot of scrapes. I did the install over a weekend. Few hours here and there seems to be the easiest method for me at least. John was great throughout the process. Original order was this pattern with piping and a different stitch which apparently isn't allowed, but John kept me updated the whole way. Thanks again.

    John,

Is the primary color on these seats charcoal or one of the other grays?

    Thanks.
