Is it possible to just get a set for the front seats? I have no need for the rear covers.
Is it possible to add the cooled seats and keep the factory heated seat?
What do the cooled switches look like?

I believe in an earlier post he said he could but there's not much cost savings in doing so

I just installed a full set with heat and cooling. The ventilation unit is called Degreez and it provides both heating and cooling. If works by direct airflow rather than a heating pad. Therefore you won’t need to or be able keep the factory heat. It’s warmer than the factory heaters in my 3rd Gen limited and the cooling is excellent. I’ll add a pic of the switch shortly.

edit: not the best but you get the idea

Some savings is better than no savings.

Is that a single toggle (one temp setting) or do you push the button 3 times for 3 levels of temp?
Also where did you locate the switch.

I am not a big user of heated seats. It was 42* here and I had all the windows down.
But man I got spoiled when we got the cooled seats in my wife’s Suburban.

My drivers lower bolster is cracking pretty bad so figure do the front seats in new leather if I was going to add one of these seat coolers anyway.

The weather sucks right now so who knows when the install will take place.

Yep, single toggle for 3 levels of heat and 3 levels of cooling. That's mounted in my 1st gen, but if i put it in my 3rd, id put it in the console in that business card sized cut out near the shifter.

Has anyone had these for a year or more? How are they holding up? I like form fitted upholstery and these look more like a comfort fit. Not knocking the product by any means, just going by the posted pics.

I have been using my katskinz seat covers for almost 3 years and 50k miles. Love them. And mine are very simple design 1 color. I wish I had done more elaborate design and heaters seemed like a good additional option

I have them in my 2018. They have held up well. They tighten up in hot weather so they may look a little loose at first.

Would you post a current pic of the seats if possible? That would be a great testimonial.

So the pic above is when you first installed them three years ago? How about a current pic? Thanks

Happy to encourage another modification. I paid 550 for my kit back then and I got hog rings at hardware store and hog ring pliers think that was less than 20 bucks. I did need help from my 14 year old son to lift seats out. But I did the rest

When I tried the site and asked for installing with a professional they wanted about 1400 and it would be an entire day. I found kit online and I would do it again for my next tundra

They want you to buy the kit and use installation company. I guess that way guaranteed no installation issues. Probably getting some referrals from installation place. I got mine on eBay I think

    Alot of them
Good morning. I have a 2020 Tundra Double Cab and the clost seating is horrible when it comes to stains. I haven't read fully through the thread yet, but I assume the last longer and are better quality than the Clazzios? I had Clazzios in my 2013 and the driver's seat peeled after a couple of years. Prices are current at the moment or are there and sales coming up? Thanks

    George

I had a leather recliner that totally peeled. Imported leather that has been treated to look like good quality when it is not. I hope this doesn't happen to seat leather, but without testimony after a year or two of use I am always skeptical. The testimony of Katzkin customers seems to support quality so far.
