only issue I have with SET and GST equivalent packages is that they use a SR5 as the baseline truck to upscale/upcharge for this package. the XP package only replaces your rims, tires and adds a running boards, exhaust tip and special badging for about $3000 upcharge. in reality they make more than that since they keep the oem rims/tires and charge your for them then resell those at full price to someone else and charge about $2000 for the new rims/tires.

its a pretty good money maker if .... you have no desire to the legwork yourself and I know a lot of people would just rather pay the upcharge and pick and drive it off the lot. I wouldn't do it since I could do that same package for about $2000 vs the dealership charging $3000 for the same setup. new duratrac $1300 out the door cost, helo rims cost after rebate $649, chrome tip came standard on the platinum, oem running boards about $400 I think.

the duratrac is the biggest cost since I went from the all season oem tires to a better mud/snow tire for hunting purposes. I guess if I went with a comparable a/s tire the cost would have been way less.

 

I did matte handles and mirrors. Cheaper, and I the subtle contrast is nice. Will pick up the matte off your boards and wheels, trim and mud flaps.

 

I negotiated a better deal than that. And I have the OEM rims in my garage.

I have to disagree also. I just put 5100's on my Platinum CM on the middle setting and it rides WAY better than it did. Not harsh or stiff at all. Very controlled now with a liittle firmness to let you know you have good suspension. I have very similar results to @NickyF25 . Night and day better. I have driven both on road and off since doing the install and love them.

for the money... color matching will look very nice vs the low end trim matte plastic look. i color matched mine but keep switching the door handles between my chrome and my painted ones. i think once i replace my grill surround n bulge then i may stay with all color matched black. i wish my front valance was painted black but thats for another time.

 

If just want to level go with the 6110 coilovers. Easy install if you buy assembled. I went with the 1.9" just to get the nose up a little. With a 2019 you might need shackles to maintain take for TSS

 

Swapped the chrome for color matched mirror caps and door handles.

Finally installed the rear sway bar.

 

How do you attach the bottle opener to the truck?

 

Just placed it where I wanted it, marked the four holes and drilled. Check to make sure you are clear of wiring behind. Pretty simple.

 

Got rid of the last of the exterior chrome today.

 

I'm due to get the TRD sway bar. How was your install experience?

 

Thats probably one of the easiest installs I have done. If no impact driver you may need a breaker bar to get the stud bolts lose on the truck though. Outside of that no issues and straightforward

 

It was simple. Just torque the bolts per instructions. Took about 30 minutes.
