Sometime last year I added an Aliengear cloak dock in the center console. I tried double sided tape and it didn’t allow me to draw the pistol without pulling off. Went ahead and screwed it in and have been very happy with it’s performance.

** I am left handed, so crossing my body makes this the most comfortable orientation to pull.

Side note, the cupholder and shifter trim have been pulled to paint. #deathtothechromeglare

Starting some initial fit tests with the Truckvault and bedslide. I plan on trimming out the rest of the bed to have a level surface before bed lining all of it.

This is an 18 year old friction slide Truckvault so I wanted to load it up with weight to test it before fully installing. Very happy with how well it operates.

Also, since the back of the bed is angled, the bedslide is to long to allow my tailgate to close. It hits on the handle, so I removed the handle and will be making a low profile handle to fix the issue.

Starting to work on the interior trim and painting it so i can stop being blinded every drive.

The pieces are just ABS plastic wrapped in “chrome” so I just through them in the bead blaster.

    Painting should be done shortly.

Loving the pics man! Need to get over to Durango and southern Utah one of these days. Also, looking forward to seeing what you come up with for a camping trailer, as I’d love to build one in the future as well. I think a 15-18’ hi deck is what I’d want to use for a base, but I’m also planning on buying a Can Am X3 once the truck’s paid off.

Thanks man!! Oh we absolutely love it out there, so hard to beat! For sure, it will definitely be long term so we will see! Oh man that would be so awesome! Check out a little project we just started for one of my buddies. We used the cranes at work to throw it on his custom 37’ trailer on super singles. He has a big rock crawler that rides on the back. This was the day we got it mounted and then he took it home, cut off the tongue and axles. This winter he will relocate tanks under the trailer and drop it down another 6 inches.

It honestly made me consider mounting an older Fiberglass scamp or casita camper on a 18’ trailer or so, so we could run dirt bikes/quads off the back of the trailer.

That’s one hell of a project man, definitely post pics when it’s done. One of the better trailer projects I’ve heard.

Got 20% ceramic tint over the front windows to match the rear and truck detailed.

Engine bay detail, I am a big fan of the often overlooked details.

Hey man I appreciate it! We absolutely love it! Cannot say enough good things about @jlee at BAMF and the incredible products he makes, the rack is perfect. I am also a huge Tepui fan, i have dealt with several of the brands in the industry and i believe they surpass them all with their customer service.

Will do for sure! We have an eight month old baby girl now so we are looking forward to getting her out on some trips here soon!

Also, love your truck, I want some @Baja Designs amber fogs like you just installed but I am holding out for the SAE approved lights that are set to come out in the next month or so!

I was trying so hard to hold out for SAEs, but I caved and got the Sports. I love having that added brightness now, and I just cut them off when there's oncoming traffic.

Oh Im sure the extra brightness would come in handy but i think being this close i may as well hold off for the SAE's and the pricepoint being under $300 sounds great too!

I haven’t been super happy with the Truckvault in the tundra. I get more use out of just the bedslide so I will probably re-sell the drawers and go a different route.

Since I just run the bedslide now I made an easy mountain bike mount out of some unistrut and mounted it to the slide. And yes, I still ride 26, I need to get with the times

Some pics of the install below and then dropped it off at Toyota for an alignment and oil change this morning. Will tale finished pictures when I pick it up.

The rear was a breeze with the spare and both tires off and the rental ball joint press. The front was a different story and I am still confused why you have to unbolt the lower control arm to get any movement. It seems like Toyota had these torqued so tight that it was limiting the travel. I didn’t have a good fit of a tool to get it off but we finally got them loose and the other did went a whole lot smoother. Still not sure how it’s possible when I read guys saying they only unbolted the sway bar, lower shock bolt and pryed to slip the spacer in but oh well.

Picked up after the alignment, all numbers were great. @Coachbuilder1 pro setup is such a great addition on the truck I love it! Rear end stays planted and feels so much better! TRD sway bar comes in tomorrow so I’m excited to add that and see how much more it changes it! Anyway, into the stuff you guys care about, pic dump.

Thanks guys I appreciate it! TRD rear sway bar is coming in this afternoon thanks to @Roman and then hopefully ordering some @Baja Designs fog lights soon! I want to wait for their SAE approved fogs but have considered ordering some Sports now and installing them and then moving them onto some Rago ditch light brackets once the SAE lights are released.

Installed TRD sway bar tonight, only made a drive around the block but butt meter says it was well worth it already!

Rotated it up and mounted it off the back so it didn’t hang down as low. Super easy and quick install!

Haven’t been on here in years! No good truck update, but we moved to arkansas and I finally got a shop built for the truck and other projects!
