I went the other way. I shaved my head for many years...my whole life up until a few years ago. When I was a kid there were 6 boys living in my house all summer, once a month my mom would line us up on the patio and buzz us all down. I used buzzer on zero setting from age 10 til about 30, then a razor for a couple years, then I decided to grow my hair to see if I still had any and sure enough I did. When I went to the barber for the first time at 35 years old he asked me what to do and i said "i have no clue i have never had a haircut before". He did a good job so I go to him every 2 months. It does cost money and it's not very convenient so I am thinking of shaving it off again soon.

Started thinning/balding at a younger age. I believe close to 25. Around 30 or so I started to just completely shave it and join the "chrome dome" club. I like it more than I thought I would, but sunburns are real. I had ran another tough mudder last year and didn't wear a hat since most have been runnning through mostly shade and it was kinda overcast....nope! Burnt that dome bad. lol. 33 now and have enjoyed the bald head for years now.
P.S....it's hard finding pics of myself since I usually only send them to people joking about stuff. lol.

so, over the summer, i was filming a wedding where my lovely wife was a guest. the next day, she says to me, 'i love watching you work but... your hair is getting very thin. a bit like that teacher in high school with comb over...'

it started as a compliment then went way south before i realized what she was saying. so, i did the next logical thing. sprinted to the bathroom, grabbed the clippers and shaved it all off.

i'm now in the process of trying to see how many stereotypes i can fit into. bald, beard, tattoos, boots, flannel, big truck...

I've thought about it. Maybe a buzz cut. I started really losing it bad about 5 years ago. I was fortunate well into my 50s. My dad was completely bald by his mid 20s. Still not sure though.

Same. My shave butter, beard conditioner and razors probably cost us about 60 bucks a year, and that’s highballing.

Yep...dollar shave club razors, shave butter, etc is awesome for shaving this dome. Then a couple beard washes/conditioners/oils that last from online. I'm pretty cheap. lol
