Lots of people had lots of stuff break and a sketchy moment with the bottle jack. I'll let the owners of the trucks tell it their way.

the lake was a little muddy and slippery, but no big deal

Nothing wrong with using a bottle jack. I use mine all the time. But this time the sand was super soft and the truck fell even though we were using a piece of wood under the jack. So the lesson is to find better ground haha

Yeah dude this was the first time that a hi lift was the only way I was going to be able to lift my truck.

@osidepunker how did the intake break? Did the motor shift that much? Good that you got out without injury, that's why matters most.

There was a little carnage but me and my son got home safely. It was a great trip.
Again thanks to @osidepunker @jc153 helped to remove the LCA while @Stewie took me to the Autozone 130 miles round trip to pickup the LCA.

Hey Jimmy.... Still waiting to see some of the sunset pics from Trona Pinacles!! ;)

Also, I'm totally stealing your Trail-Pho idea. They have great instant Pho bowls at Costco right now and I'm gonna make the same beef and onion mix you made when I ran w/ you guys. I assume you made it w/ some sort of fish sauce/hoisin mix!
Oh, and I love the RED you chose for the front bumper!!

I bought LCA from 1A Auto less than a year all the rubber bushing were shots, with lifetime warranty they sent me the replacement I then replaced all rubber bushings with polyurethane bushings and it was Aug 2018, so it cracked within 6 months (its about 5 wheeling trips).
