Getting going on some more mods since the weather is warming up. First up being a BASECAMP trailer build to allow me to wheel wherever I go. the trailer is a 2020 cargo mate 6x12

    then the build started....

First things first we did an axle flip to gain 4” of lift and threw on 31” terra grapplers and some XD wheels. Then was the vinyl ‘peel and stick’ flooring. Then was staining the walls. Got the outer limit supply first aid kit mounted and did some grey man tac panels for molle system storage. Plans for a roof rack to carry the SUP and kayak. Bed and kitchen modules are being built not that will bolt to E track along the wall. I need to figure out a whiskey cabinet and mounting system for my skottle. We decided on a Murphy bed system to allow me to carry mountain bikes, dirt bike, jet ski so I can keep the toy hauler feature. What do you guys think? Would love some feedback for functionality purposes as it is still in the building phase.

Or maybe it cranks up further looking back up at your pics of it....just looking out that it could be a possible "hang-up" point

But that nice flat surface top gives you some great area to mount some solar panels if you wanted. If you're going to sleep in the trailer via the murphy bed, I would look into getting a roll-up canvas/screen insert that mounts maybe to the top. That way you can roll it down and keep the gate open for some ventilation....just throwing ideas (thinking out loud)...possibilities are endless...definitely staying around to see what you come up with..Digging it so far!

It does crank up farther but I think I’m going to be swapping to a Tungus jack that folds up. I have one solar panel I plan on mounting towards the front. I like the screen idea for sure!

Awesome build! I'm loving it, especially the trailer. Just traded in my Tacoma for my 2016 Trd Pro Tundra and I couldn't be happier! It was hard letting go of the taco but so glad I did.

Here’s a bit of a build update… The trailer has been doing pretty good so far. The flooring was a nightmare. The laminate tile floor that we decided to put in the trailer continue to peel up even after the wood was primed. We then ripped it out and layEd down a epoxy flooring across the wood which seems to be holding a lot better. Took the trailer out for the first time to really give it a shake down test everything worked flawlessly. Just need to figure out how to get it a little more organized. The tundra has been getting some mods as well. The tundra sound system was pretty terrible since I first bought it I was never fully happy with it. So I decided to upgrade the entire audio system with JL audio coaxial 650 speakers with 2JL audio 12 inch subwoofers in a JL audio 900 Watt amp. This thing hits hard and is crystal clear. I can’t believe how good it sounds. I did lose storage under my rear seat but I plan on running a decked system in the future so that wasn’t a big deal to me. F32A9872-275B-4B41-830B-F2249320B0C0.jpg

Install was not terrible by any means. I had imagined it would be 1000x worse but beer helped the time pass.

Digging the wrap color for sure! Need to get a rack for the camper shell and needing an awning now for some shade at the lake.

Yes sir. Loved the Tacoma, but it was time for something a bit bigger with more power. Are you still doing wraps for customers?

No, I actually went with the new AT Overland Atlas. The GFC was awesome, but it got a little small with me, the wife and the dogs. The atlas interior should be a little better setup for us.
