Has anyone upgraded their audio setup that has the JBL system in it? I would like to improve speakers and head unit but I see it is 2ohm.... just looking for ideas on what you have done.

I enjoy the Entune JBL my Limited came with....sooo much better than that pos deck that came in my TRD off-road (2012)
I will upgrade the speakers one day, but it's not a priority as of yet.

What did that cost? I want a better HU first, then better speakers in a year or two. I would like to keep all factory controls too.

Alot of head units you can use the factory controls using a steering wheel adapter ( all it is a box and a harness) make sure your head unit your looking at can accept that ( alot dont so keep that in mind)

    for mine
    head unit 250
    eq 180
BA class a amp was 450
    alpine amp 300
    front speakers 300
    rears where 120
    qlogic box 215
2 alpine subs got them for 200

add other 150 for misc stuff and thats my set up..

Clean crisp and very loud.. It will make your ears ring.. The two 8 inch subs help out on the bottom end but if your looking for lose as a hooker bass you need something alot bigger but i wanted the hidden look and clean look the best.

Simple I prefer. In my jeep xj I had nice 6.5, 2 ways and a 40×4 rms amp.... dynmat behind them and was happy...
