Saw your new tacoma build, badass. Are you using your tundra's engine for the build or did you find a used one?

    Mr. Jberry

You are the official king shocks expert, first off bad ass truck mayng!. Ok, I have kings front and rear no clickers with stock uca, been speeding through tank trails here at fort Irwin and I love them, super smooth and controlled, took off my front sway bar too. If I get total chaos uca, is there something to make the kings travel more? I have them on stock settings which level out the truck and I want to leave them at that height, ive heard when you get an aftermarket uniball uca theres a topout spacer or something that can be removed to enable more travel and of course I will revalve and retune. I am in CA where there are a lot of offroad shops that can tune them right, whats your take? I like going fast on and offroad.

That's why I said "when" it breaks.

    :notsure:

Inside the coilovers there is a shaft spacer. I don't remember how large the one is in the Tundra coilovers though. Regardless, you can shorten the spacer 1/4" (or if it's only 1/4" just remove it) and gain a little bit more droop travel.
Honestly I'm really happy with the out of the box valving the front of the kings came with. The only thing I would do is plug one of the free-bleed holes in the piston if you are really getting on it and want it a little bit stiffer (or you are adding weight like armor). Just make sure you red loctite that fucker in there.

    Externally, they are dimensionally identical.

Think of them more like a tube than a solid bar. The thickness of the wall of the tube is greater on the Sequoia bar (tubing), which translates to a greater effort is required to flex it.

Huh. Ok makes sense. I was always told they were a bar and that's why a thicker sway bar is so much better.

What is often referred to as a thicker bar would probably have a greater OD, but the same or similar wall thickness. Or it could even be greater in both of those specifications.
