NA. It makes a noticeable difference, butt dyno confirmed. There are several folks on here @boardude @dirtydeeds that can confirm the numbers but with a tune it can add about 50hp. The only thing I know is, if feels faster, and it sounds great.

    Dang it....

Seems like this is the biggest bang for the buck in terms of HP additions. While I'd love a blower, the rational part of me can't justify that kinda money for reduced reliability. This seems like a nice compromise though...

How much of a pain are the cats & midpipes? My welding skills are OK... just not while i'm underneath a vehicle.

I'm sending my cats to keith and he's gonna build custom midpipes around them.

I think the important number is the 80+ ft/lbs of torque that is gained across all ranges. This is the biggest difference you feel.

Glad you got everything figured out! It's "fun" to do once, and then never again haha. Not exactly your civic swap lol

Huge shoutout to Keith Carty and the guys over at @dirtydeeds I couldn't be happier! Dropped stock mids/cats off to Keith's house this past Friday night and they were finished and ready for pickup Saturday. Not to mention a couple weeks earlier he jumped through his ass and had one of his guys also come in on a weekend to make me up some loaner mid pipes for me. Customer service at its best!!

JBA longtube headers, stock cats welded into some custom mid pipes, and a BAM 8" system. Has a nice deep growl and screams when you get on it. Did I mention there is ZERO DRONE, and I haven't even installed the Helmholtz resonator. I sounds perfect and has some balls!

    Here's a quick video of stock vs BAM 8" vs JBA's/BAM 8".

I always ran with headers over the years. Didn't think my 09 Taco with 2.7L needed them. Even though I drove it all the way up and back from AK...I knew I wasn't going to keep it or upgrade to a V6er version. Now.... I'm in the mood to make some changes with my 07 Tundra. Technically headers is usually a no brainer for me. I've got plans in mind. "Shockingly", I'm quite happy with my OME's. Headers would be great...ARB locker would be great. UCA's a must right now. Got the tire thing figured out after all these years.(Cooper). Bully Dog....dang. I need to make that leap too. I'll get there... Dirty Deeds is book marked.... Let's leave it at that for now...

Lol the list is never ending. I would do the BD, headers and exhaust at the same time. The trail tune on the BD was written specifically for the JBA LT setup.

The first thing I used to do back in the day was strip out factory exhaust....Headers and C-Bombs with cut outs was what you did. Pre emission BS.

Awesome comparison video. I am a bit jealous. Hope to add headers later this year.

Thanks and you're right it's definitely faster. I have a bullydog with trail tune, stock throttle setting, performance shift setting, and an AFE dry filter.
