I'm interested in any feedback also. I don't think there's much reviews yet because the Duracell power station is new, hence the coupon offering.

I'm not 100% sure what the Jackery deals are this year. The website says that they are doing an early registration for up to 90% off coupons.

It looks like the regular black friday sale runs from November 24-28, 2022.

    Prime Day Sale
(Not sure why it isn't 4th of July sale)
    July 3-12, 2023
Some exclusive to July 11-12, 2023
    https://www.jackery.com/pages/prime-day

There are some sales that I'm actually impressed with....like an Explorer 500 for $359, or an Explorer 300 for $225. I may pick up one or more myself.

Does anyone know of another power station that you can charge with solar and 12v (DC) simultaneously. I know the jackery 300 can. Maybe somewhere in the 500$ range. Looking to upgrade to a bigger unit but hard to get that type of technical info…

I've considered getting an 8mm splitter to feed two sources to one input on the Jackery.

    Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/MJPOWER-Comb...9&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY

The picture even shows a Jackery being charged.

that’s to add additional solar panel though. I don’t think adding a 12vdc on one of those splitters is going to work in conjunction with solar. For instance my jackery 300 currently using one panel through the 8mm port and usb c pd port to charge simultaneously. I’ll have to do some research on splitting the 8mm cable…

I ordered it, so I will test for you.

The solar panels and the car charger both charge the Jackery through the same port. It seems like it should work to me.

yeah brother that’s not going to work. You’ll be inducing higher voltage feedback via the solar panels to your vehicle electrical system and who knows what else. I just ordered this one below, has the usb c input/output making it “dual” input charging. A little more than I wanted to spend but will also power my diesel heater so win win. No more carrying around my old odyssey battery for that purpose haha hopefully I can leave the fridge in full time with the 100w solar panel on top of the rtt. Will update when received. On sale for 629 on Amazon

Just an update. So I finally received the anker unit after a huge shipping delay. So far living in SoCal desert where it’s 100 degree or more lately it’s maintained the charge using the 100 watt solar panel on top of the rtt to run the fridge constantly. So far so good, and dual charges with solar and usb c input if vehicle is running. In hindsight looks the the jackery 1000 can do dual charging but this unit was 200 bucks less. Time will tell how it holds up as it has internal fans and such.

Looks like Jackery is once again following Amazon with their Prime day deals. In years past, this has been one of the best sales of the year. If you look at post #1, you'll see that 33% is about the maximum discount that Jackery offers. I pretty much, at this point, wouldn't consider a purchase unless it was at least 25% off.

The Explorer 1000 is near 40% off right now. They have a MSRP of $1099 and it is currently going for $699. The advantage to ordering through Jackery, as opposed to Amazon, is Jackery is refunding the purchase price to a customer per day now through October 11.

They are saying "up to 50% off" for Black Friday, but the only one that discounted looks to be the Explorer 700. Which, quite honestly, looks like a pretty good deal at $399.

    https://www.jackery.com/products/jackery-explorer-700-plus-portable-power-station?variant=40257682276439

That puts it at only $50 more than the 500. You get an extra 200W of capacity, double the output capacity (1000W), and bluetooth control (something that seems to be new with the Plus series).

It looks like they have some other items for sale here (incl. some refurbished units): https://www.jackery.com/collections/all

The Explorer 2000 Pro is also pretty close to the 50% off at 48%: https://www.jackery.com/products/solar-generator-2000-pro

What's the difference between Plus and Pro?
The Plus series has an expansion option and bluetooth that can be controlled via an app. Edit: The expansion port does not exist on the Explorer 700 Plus. This is reserved for the 1000 Plus, and up.
