    Appears the OP question has been answered - so I’ll just toss this little tidbit out there.

    There are few things in life where cheaper is not in your interest. Jacks and jack stands are 1 of them - now I’m not recommending you buy a Snap On or similarly over hyped tool - but the cheapest is probably not the right tool for a 6k pound truck either.

    That 3 ton el cheapo off the internet might be ok for propping up a Civic - but trucks are heavy and better safe than sorry. The ratings on these things are manufactures “best guess” at times.

    Pay for the trusted brands - it’s cheaper both in terms of having to replace more frequently, of dealing with the frustration of having a tool fail when it’s needed and in the copay on your health insurance.
