What kind of jack do you guys use for your leveled tundras? I tried my stock jack not too long ago and realized it wouldn't do diddly squat if I needed to change out a flat.
    Suggestions?

Funny I was looking at mine as well and got a great chuckle out of it, I went ahead and threw a couple of 4x4x12 blocks in my truck box maybe it will help.

You have a leveled tundy? My jack wouldn't hit high enough for me to get my tires off (or on for that matter) even on concrete

Yes, mine is leveled with a 2" Toytec kit but the stock jack won't work on it. I have to use my 3ton floor jack at home.

Too bad a Hi lift doesn't have enough reach or ability to handle the weight of our pickups. I'd think a few blocks with your original jack would be the most expedient plan.

Hi-lift jacks are rated at 4600 lbs. Unless one is lifting up the whole tundra, you're good to go lifting one wheel off the ground. Then again, like you said, how is one going to lift the tundra?

I'm actually glad you brought this up Law. Didn't even dawn on me that maybe I should look into this after my new strut upgrade. Working on a resolution right meow.

Glad you figured out this was a problem before you got in trouble out in the sticks!
One of my first purchases after I got this truck was a new lightweight 3T "racing" floor jack made of mostly aluminum.
I also am carrying a 5T bottle jack and some wood blocks.
Occasionally I bring along the hi-lift which works fine with a short sling slipped through the spokes in the wheel. Once it is up high enough you can put blocks or stuff under the axle.

Factory jacks are mostly just good for use as a paper weight.
Test what you have at home when you are comfortable and not in a rush. It sucks to find out your stuff won't work when it is dark and you are in a ft of mud and snow!

Only reason I even realized that was I installed my own lift. Realized pretty quick I wasn't going to be able to use my stock jack for installation (or after, for that matter) since I'm going back and forth to Memphis from BR this week, and a whole lot of nothing in between makes me want to be safer than stranded. I have 2k miles on my toyo AT's, they should be fine, but can't hurt to have some anti-Murphy!!!

Oh I've been stuck in the middle of nowhere before only because one of my lugs were stripped bare (Silverado and rusted to holy hell) not fun.
I have noticed stock jacks are worth next to nothing even with stock height, but luckily been able to pull off stock jacks thus far in some sketch areas with the help of jack stands of course. Like I said, can't hurt to have some anti-Murphy!!

I use a heavy duty floor jack at home. I've got some large wood blocks that I carry with me for the stock jack and that still kind of sucks.
