Worn front anti roll bar link rattles. When I put the TRD anti roll bar on I noticed it. It’s been 6 months

Exhaust resonator and muffler have some small rust holes. Leaving it for now... has slight drone but sounds meaner. :burnrubber:

The clicking blinker noise is louder for my right blinker than my left. Not sure if it was meant to be that way, and not sure if I care.

My pull put cup holder rattles. It rattles more when pulled out.

Haven't bothered to see what's loose, or if I need to cut up some straws to use as shims. Might just be worn out. It is the second one I've had.

    Quick story.
Lil bro and I were going to the store. Cup holder pulled out. He hit one of the spring loaded arms with his knee and snapped it off. Few weeks goes by after this.

Papaw had bought a rusted out 2002 V8 "Tye-odie trundle, one of them foreigner cars." From a buy here, pay here, rebuild lot. It had been wrecked, broken into, stolen, rebuilt, wrecked, and rebuilt again. Here comes Papaw.... hook line, and sinker.

He kept it for a few months, and decided to sell it. He asked me to give it a once over and give him a list of everything that was wrong with it.

4 hours later I came back to him with a laundry list. One page front, and back. One of the items on the list was a busted pull put cup holder.

Thats right, I swapped my busted one for his good one.
I figured with the laundry list of suspension components, missing pieces of tube from the exhaust (7-8" rusted away just gone), an oil fill cap missing, transmission dipstick missing, busted seats, plexiglass caulked in where the rear slide glass goes, 4 different keys to get into the truck. One for tailgate, one for gas doors, one for d/p doors, and one for ignition.

I figured with ALL that one more item wouldn't hurt.

You can disassemble that cup pull out and tighten the assembly. Their are a few little screws along the top and sides that will firm the holder back up. I did mine a few years ago and forget the process, but its pretty easy and fixed my rattle.

Disc brake shields. Discovered how bad they REALLY were when installing all the front end parts. Check with me again after 20,000 miles or 15 years, whichever comes first.

Backed into a gate on a ranch in my 19 pro. The bumper cover got dinged and scraped really badly. I sanded, primered, painted and clear coated it with touch up paint that is coded correctly but it doesn’t perfectly match.

from even 6 ft away you can’t tell.

    not gonna push my luck.

Oh and tons of pinstripes .

I buffed 90% out but in right light you can see the other 10%.

    only thing so far.

My pull cup holder (didn't realize it was called that) on my 04 is just as limp as grandpa on a cold night and will not hold anything. I assume its supposed to pop up and stay?16074058118595142043322876915217.jpg
Not that i need that thing to hold any more drinks and can only wonder why there is so many drink holders (8) in this truck??

I meant to say pull OUT cup holder. Yeah, that thing. I'll take a picture of mine when I get off work. It is suppose to pop up.

Since PHM reminded me I think there are 2 Allen screws in the "track"

    Screenshot_20201208-001020_Chrome.jpg

    Somewhere in that thing.

    Also, EIGHT cup holders?

I've only got four. Two in center console, and two in the pull out holder.

You can spray Blaster Silicone with Teflon in those tracks. Clean them out as best as possible first. Spray and work it in. Once the spray dries thats when the Mojo returns like better than new. The dry silicone and Teflon work best when dry. Smoov.

    Stock, for now
I have a squeaking noise coming from the center speaker grill.

A lot of superficial rust on bolts, screws...

Mine came with the clear protective film. The edges are starting to go brown.

Rear passenger seat rattles and squeaks

    Crappy radio sound

My 04DC has 2 in the back seat, 2 in the back of the console, 2 in the front of the console and 2 in the dash pull-out.
That the reason I bought a DC...

I had the P0420 code a few years back, didn't worry about it for a year until I had to get the truck smogged. Replaced the front cat with a Magnaflow for ~$425 and got ~$50 from the recycling yard for the old one. That fixed the CEL and the truck ended up passing smog.

I'm sure you don't have to worry about smog making you fix it where you're at, though.

I'm definitely going to look into this. I've browsed here, or there but could never really find a cat that I wanted to go with.

    Thank you!

No testing here. As long as it looks/sounds like there is exhaust most here don't care.

I got my Magnaflow from big gurl (drop shipped) and the part number is # 458017. According to the description that number was replaced by # 455118. Their website says this part number is for 2003-2004 however: https://www.magnaflow.com/products/...carb-compliant-direct-fit-catalytic-converter

One important thing with mine is it had to be CARB compliant because of California; there may be non-CARB compliant options that are cheaper that you could pursue.

Around the time the cat went out, something also tore the wires out of the O2 sensor in front of the cat. That caused another code to go off and make the truck bog terribly until it was fixed.

I'll have to see if there is a V6 variant of the maganflow. Not sure why it would matter, but I'm not an exhaust guru.

Thanks for the link! I'll check on my next break!

I backed into something with my 2002 about 5 years ago and dented the rear bumper... my plan is to replace it with a chrome bumper, but it's obviously not a priority.

The bed on my '07 was in bad shape when I bought the truck 3 years ago, the combination of PDR and Line-X made it better but it still detracts from the rest of the truck. I'll get around to improving it's appearance someday, perhaps next year.
