Looks good. Just color match those handles and mirrors. Or maybe black would be better. No, color match because of chrome grill.

I eventually plan on going with either a trd pro grille or the honey comb grille. I do want to color match the handles but I will be putting on tow mirrors which are black or course. Know where I can get JUST color matched handles?

@Roman at coolsprings or sparks parts. Both in the vendor section of this forum.

Not that I was asked, but I think black would be badass.

You have a full side pic? Just curious how it looks lifted sitting on stock wheels.

Does anyone have any updates on this? I'm still hearing lots, lots, and lots of mixed results from dealerships with warranty service.

Going a few months and 3 sensors later. So far so good. Knock on wood...
Now onto the next issue... either a bad shock, a mount , or something knocking around on bumps and rough surface streets. Dealer appointment set for this Friday. Keep y'all updated.

Three sensors? Were they covered under warranty? Curious how this goes. I'm not worried about the level... but more worried about not have coverage for a complete sensor system due to it.

I had TSS issues in my first 1000 miles and still 14,000 later. So I lifted it anyway. Dealership even said to go ahead, Toyota can’t say the lift caused it.

Cantle , the first 2 replacement sensors were prior to a known water intrusion issue with the sensors. The last on has been released though Toyota's additional quality control. Was great dealing with toyota Corp and my case manager to get the job done. You just have to log all occurrences of issues...

So I did some calling today to some dealerships across the west and some small shops. I wanted to get an ear to the ground on what the word is, and post back here to help others.

Most large dealers said yes, they know there is the issue. 3/5 said they can fix it with a camera recalibration that takes 2 hours. Same thing they would do if your windshield was replaced or something like that. Said dealers indicated that would solve any issues.

A couple of small shops with a good rep said they knew it was an issue, but didn't know how or have the tools to calibrate.

ToyTec indicated that they have seen the issue and have two solutions. Keep the truck with some kind of rake (IE 1.3" level in front, or 2" up front with a 1" shackle in rear), OR take it to the dealer for recalibration.

Spoke with my Toyota dealership in Raleigh, NC and they advised me that they would absolutely install a lift kit on my ‘18 Tundra. They advised when they install the lift they automatically calibrate the TSS system as well. So I guess it just depends on finding the right dealership....

I was one of the first on here to get, and lift a 2018. Worked with my dealership to figure it out. Regardless of keeping rake it needs recalibrated to work as designed. My truck works perfect, and my dealership sells lifted trucks but recalibrates every one.

Curious do you know how much the calibration costs? What dealership?

I have some minor sensor issues after I lifted my 2018 SR5 CM. I have Fox 2.5 IFPs on there - those shocks are only rated for a 2" lift, but the install shop that I used messed up and I wound up with about a 3.5" lift on the passenger side and a 3" lift on the driver side, so I wound up leveling the rear with 1.5" blocks.

the issue I get is the brake sensor beeping super loud and flashes red on the dashboard screen... Sometimes when I'm approaching a big hill in front of me at a speed of 35-60 mph it must think I'm about to smash into a car or brick wall or something and it just goes off scaring the crap out of my wife and I. Sometimes when a car is really far in front of me hitting it's brakes, it'll go off and keep going off for 5 - 10 seconds longer. Both of these scenarios rarely happen, maybe once a month at the most so it's not a big deal to me.

I'm going to fix the lift here soon, so maybe the sensor issue will go away, but I'm not too worried about that.

Did you try turning sensitivity down on the pcs sensor?

Yea I cranked it down to the lowest setting a while back. still happens very infrequently. Not too worried about it.

I had the Fabtech 4" lift with coilovers installed, 1" blocks on the rear, 2.5 dirt logics. Rides like a Lexus LS(on mud tires) and no issues.
