Is this too much rust on the differential?

Found a 2005 v8 4x4 but not many pictures of the frame. It is an hour away so I asked the dealer to send me some undercarriage pics and this is what I got. I checked the history of the truck and it is a single owner, serviced in DC by toyota all its life 105kmiles currently.

:facepalm:Don’t bother. The rust barnacle of a rear pumpkin, load proportioning valve and rusted hitch speak volumes. Move onto the next one.

That looks a lot worse than my axle housing- and before my frame was replaced, it was so rusty that it couldn't be put on a lift. Don't spend a dime on that truck.

How much is he asking? I don't know that you'd be able to service anything underneath that truck very easily assuming the rest looks the same.

It may sound hypocritical of me to say run as I bought a truck from New York. But I will tell you from my experience, run. Run like the wind. Run and never look back. You can see how the ebrake is already seized by looking at the slack in the cable...
