So I just noticed the texture of the paint along the bottom of the doors and up to the wheel well. the sun hit it just right and it stands out like a sore thumb the drivers side is not as bad but is this normal ?IMG_0316.jpg IMG_0315.jpg

My has it too but my guess is that if I'm Not wrong that will be something like anti corrosion since most of us will be taking ours truck to the mod or to the snow and specialty the snow has salt that can make a really bad damage to the paint and mostly or usually that section section is the most affected

It's supposed to protect the paint from rocks that get kicked up from the tires. I've also seen them on my Tacoma. Typically found on most trucks.

Chip guard , gravel guard just an extra layer of protection seems like mine could of used a couple more coats of paint to cover it better oh well
