No, you're just on here spewing the most obnoxious ignorance.

    YUP.
    It's complete no brainer.

Truck with 15 year old, possibly rusted frame that's gonna fail in 2-3 years
    OR
brand new frame, with no expense spared at the dealer?

I can't believe anyone would even think about it.

It's just an opinion. I was saying I'd rather find a truck with an original non-rusted frame, which in my opinion would be better than finding a truck with a replaced non-rusted frame. A frame replacement means a human took the truck apart and then put it all back together, which creates all sorts of opportunities for error. It's like saying you'd rather find a Tundra that has had the engine broken into to fix a cam tower leak rather than find one without a leak that has never been opened up. If that doesn't bother you or the buyer then great.

Also here's what I originally said: "I suppose it's better compared to it having a rusted frame, but I wouldn't really call it an "upside". Seems like ideally you'd want something with an original frame in good shape. That's a lot of stuff coming off to replace a frame."

I said a replaced frame is better than having a rusted frame.

Again, it was just an opinion, which is what this guy was asking for. Nobody was telling him to definitely stay away from the truck. Either way, no need to be a dick about it. It obviously rubbed you the wrong way for you to respond how you did.

    Take care.

I appreciate all the feedback I have recieved before and after the purchase. Because of the feedback i received before the purchase i was able to make a better decision and made me feel better about the purchase as i knew what to look for.

I will never buy a car that doesn't have the support of online communities such as this. My previous truck was a Honda Ridgeline which also has great online community and it really valuable resource.

Haha, chest hair is a pre existing mod since the 90's. But going from The Ridgeline to a Tundra definitely gives you a whole new view on things.

I have not sold the ridgeline kept it in the family as it gave me 220k absolutely trouble free miles since new in 2006 and still going strong with no sign of slowimg down (it was the truck of the year that year) lol.

Hey that sounds like a great vehicle. That's the one you keep. Our family has a 2000 Toyota Avalon, 275k+ miles on that SOB. They gave it to my brother in law who has a long commute(80 mile round trip), its been a flawless commuter for him for the past 16-18 months. He actually likes that car, the smooth and quiet ride, the huge amount of space, 30mpg on his highway commute, it still looks decent but who really cares where you park it.

Haha I test drove this truck when I was looking to buy mine lol. It was definitely raced at the light next to the dealer lol. I couldn’t deal with the wood grain and 18 yr old vaping kid spoiler lol.

I will. What part you from? Personally I wanted a sunroof and I don’t remember that one having one or back up camera? I also didn’t think it had the 5.7 in it but I didn’t pop the hood to verify. It’s a good truck though.
