Yeah Jason's truck fully gets it for bolt in mid travel components. Rides better than stock on the street, and totally kills the TRD suspension offroad too.
Quite honestly I'm a little :jellydance: about his setup compared to my OME front setup. Mine is way stiffer and more bouncy, yet cant handle the hard hits as well either. :pout:

I have OME on my current truck... Don't honestly plan on going that route again.

The OME on my Tacoma was a rough ride also. I've been really satisfied with my Toytec boss kit with the AAL in back.

Does anyone know a way to search the entire country for vehicles? I can use Toyota for new ones in small areas and I can also use like searchtempest for craigs and stuff... Trying to find either an Inferno truck or a 2014 Platinum for right around 40k. Help me brethren!

cars.com would be my starting point. You can specify "any" miles from your zip, TRD pro trim, and color to narrow it down.

It's not 100% complete, but it's an easy place to start.

I went from an 08 Tacoma Double cab to a 16 Crewmax Pro and I am loving it!

Not sure what that guy thinks he has. It's a nice truck and all but not a $60K truck.

Yeah I'm not sure why anyone would spend 60k on one when you can buy all of the TRD Pro features separate (or customize it however you want) and spend way less.

Yeah I tried that and kind of came up empty handed...

That's what I am thinking too! I am a tad gun shy working in an industry heavily influenced by the economy, but I am on the search anyway! Not settled on even getting a Tundra, but I would be crazy to not give it a look.

Yeah... Take 20k off of it and we can maybe talk. Not even worth contacting them at that price. I don't think they want to sell it that bad.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
My guess is that is what he has into it at sale price and full retail price of all the add-ons. As most of us know you can't get that from used. Kbb truck value + 1/2 of what you put into aftermarket parts is typically the top of the line.

I have 55k invested in mine and it has more stuff than his. I'd let mine go for 54

I don't want to buy a modded truck. Very rarely will the previous owner have done the mods that I find alluring and I'll end up ripping it off anyway. Tint the windows, put a blower on? That kind of stuff I'm down with though.

I would love it too!! lol. I am absolutely bonkers about the fact they have a MGM Pro now. I was never crazy about the previous 3 color options (being Inferno, white, and black). I currently have a 2007 Tundra SR5 and a 2015 Tacoma TRD OR and believe me, the wheels are spinning in my mind. I only wish I had a crystal ball and could know if Toyota is going to upgrade the powertrain on the Tundras in the near future. Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely loved most everything about the 5.7L and 6 speed auto, but was wondering if it isn't time for Toyota to kick it in gear (literally and figuratively) and add 20+ HP and 30+ lb/ft, 3-4 MPG, and maybe an extra transmission gear or two.

I sold a '12 F150 Supercrew 4x4 with a 5.0L for this PRO, doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the Lariat had, but I love this beast. Fantastic ride, sounds badass, great power and shift strategy and reliable. Factory modded truck works for me, and worth the price (MSRP).

THIS. This is my fear right now... I like pretty much everything else about the Tundra. I know people bellyache about the fuel mileage, but if you looked at fuelly.com theres trucks aren't much worse real world than anything else, including the new Tacoma.
