I know this is probably a beat down topic, but ive been searching for awhile and cant find a solid answer. I found a tsb that said it was through 2011, but then keep reading its a second gen issue. Im getting ready to purchase a 2012, but its 3 hrs from me so cant really see it up close and personal prior to the trip.

Probably not. Depends on what state it is in though. I have a 2008 that has 0 frame rust

I would ask for photos of the frame and the bottom of the bed. Nobody on here is going to be able to tell you what kind of condition the truck is in.

I was asking if the 2012 is still affected as the TSB is for 2007 to 2011. I have my answer now, I passed on the truck. They sent me pics of the frame that looked good, bed had a bedliner. When I got there and lifted the bed liner the rust was clearly coming through. Back to the search.
