I get what you're saying dragger, and it's good to see you posting again. But that may be a little too broad.

there are tons of us without any problems at all, completely in line with what we would expect from a tundra.

so far anyways, Ive had more issues with my previous gens, and I have owned them all.

    just another view point

I understand your position. There are a bunch of owners of domestic trucks who would share the same experience.

Existing consumer shared data points to the Tundra being the least reliable option for sale today in the 1/2 ton segment. Maybe the GM twins with the craptastic displacement on demand 6.2L’s being recalled will dethrone the Tundra for least reliable.

I would be far less critical of Toyota if they had expanded the recall to include hybrids as well.

Shit happens and no product made by man will ever be perfect, but how an individual craftsman or a giant company decides to handle a situation where their work doesn’t live up to standards and the reputation they want to have means something. Toyota in my opinion has not covered themselves in glory here the way they have acted.

agreed, but this also isnt over yet...

I think it could still be expanded in production range or hybrids, we'll see.

mine was like the next truck off the line after the recall range, lol, but WTF are ya gonna do, it is what it is

Its the same exact Toyota factory warranty your dealer will try to sell you at about half the cost. These guys are dealers but are more concerned with volume instead of price.
