personally gonna pass on a minivan and say uncool..but like all things they have a place and purpose and im not throwing shade on what suits you.

but dang yo if you throw 1000hp in it...you got the mount Everest of cool:rofl:

Minivans are very uncool. Like two other posters before, my wife is also against them, and I am thankful for that. I hate them.

For some they are uncool for others they are great. I have a 2015 odessey and love that thing. I do have 3 kids. Just came back home from a 4 hour trip plus 2 hr wait time to cross the border and the size of that thing is awesome, at the border crossing kids were able to un buckle and get out of car seats move around and they handled it like champs. Don’t get me wrong I love my tundra but it’s not as comfortable as my odessey. Now if I had no kids the van wouldn’t be close to something I would buy lol

Like I said before: "whatever gets you to sleep at night." ;) Justifying how cool they are, doesn't make them cool.

Although, you didn't actually call them cool, you called them great. The Fonz doesn't put "cool" and "great" on the same level.

Hehe, I will go ahead then and say it "Minivans are cool!"

Driving a bus with car-like suspension is cool
Driving a vehicle on a car drive train but sitting up high like in a truck is awesome. I mean cool.
Having 3 rows of seats where the back row is an actual row of seats, not cramped toddler seats like most SUVs is cool.
Having the rear seats fold in different configurations to adjust the needed cargo space is super awesome. I mean cool.
Having all that utility and room and still get almost 30 mpg is cool.
Loading a pallet full of books that put my Tacoma on the bump stops but the van did not even look like it is loaded, is cool.
Being able to enjoy all that but tell your friends it is your wife's car is cool.

Others might have different opinions, but I think minivans are cool.

    Mini Van's are cool.
But only the Odyssey or Sedona.

    Full size Van's.
    I like them all.

I came to a conclusion my Honda Odessey is cooler then my tundra.

6ft table fits perfect in odessey with rear door closed. Tundra we need the tailgate open.... what kinda shit is that hahaha

I have no clue how a Mini Van can haul 2 dirt bikes, gear and a cooler of beer.

wait, what? but if they can't do that, there is NO WAY cool would even be part of the discussion. Are you saying that hauling awesomeness isn't a requirement for cool? I'm confused.

I have a 18 tundra and my wife has a 17 sienna. The van is awesome for grocery trips and hauling kids.

My little bro was moving a couch and we found out it fit in the back of my wife's Durango with the gate closed but was too long to fit in my DC with the tailgate closed...

Full size vans can fit 2 bike and gear, keeping everything dry and safe as well. There's a reason most privateers have vans.

I'm just a van fan in general. Mini-vans have their place, though anemic and underwhelming their appearance. Full size vans are where it's at. We took a lot of road trips as a kid in my Dad's Econoline. Best road trip vehicle ever. My Uncle also had a Club Wagon with 2nd row captains chairs. I will have a full size 1-ton van sometime in the near future.

Chevy Express 3500, carry 12 people, 4k payload, tow 10k. Got the Tundra beat all around. Plenty of contractors driving the Express vans with over 300k.

We are talking about mini vans. My race rig was an E250.

put a class 3 hitch and a small trailer on it and you're set. nobody needs a fullsize to pull 800 lbs.

So a small sedan and NOT a minivan is the ticket.

Sums it up. Although my brother recently converted as well, his odyssey cost more than his NSX and he seems to enjoy it more.

Soooooo I still like the previas.... screw the utility aspect, it came with a FACTORY OPTION SUPERCHARGER! That's definitely cooler the most of my cars.

My engineer buddy built out this SC AWD Previa to do the #vanlife thing with his Mrs. On their first "real" trip it puked it's guts somewhere in WA. He pulled all the custom stuff out, bought a brand new stripper Sprinter, stuffed it all in the Sprinter, sold the Previa to a friend for $1, and went on their way.

Although the Previa was quirky and cool they ended up with a bit more "adventure" than they really wanted. They're much happier/comfortable with the Sprinter.

The Previa is one of those quirky/weird/fun cars you drive around in town, I dunno If I'd trust it on a long trip given the age/miles most of them have. They still kind of remind me of the Star Trek TNG shuttle-craft. I've seen a few RHD JDM examples on the auction sites that are just MINT with like 30-100k kilometers on them that I'd seriously like to own.

Speaking of the "man van", my brother in law kind of sees the old grey Honda Odyssey with a car seat in the back as symbol of manliness. Yeah its old, but its clean and not beat up, so it kind of appeases his ego, it looks good, yet it affirms his masculinity by driving it. Yeah I have a kid, I'm fertile, in a stable marriage, I feel validated by my fertility to drive this fucking van because it is what is best for my family which I created. BTW this is a guy who had 2 pickup trucks for his previous vehicles.
