    looks loke quite a bit of rodent gnawls all over the hoses and wires.

    They did. They chewed one of the wires to the coil, and the knock sensor harness.

    I had similar popping with a busted intake gasket in my jeep, but it didnt happen until it got hot and i had to accelerate from a stop.

    hose all the hoses and intake gaskets, fuel injectors, tb with (water may work?) but carb cleaner or starting fluid. Efi is difficult to not throw parts at.

    Or it's not firing solid on all 8.

    Given the batt drain sitch, I'm always suspect of batts.

    But that said, hiss sounds like a vacuum line missing or loose, maybe compromised?

    I could blame the PCV too. But I'm not gonna.

    Oh yeah!! This hose kit is exactly what I've been looking for to replace old hoses on my evap system and hopefully turn off the money light for a while.

    It's been dealt with. That was 3 years ago. I plugged the holes and vacuumed it all out good and replaced the knock sensor harness.
