    Update status:

I filed the claim over the weekend, I didn't hear a back for a few days. So I reached out to them yesterday evening, asked if they ever received my claim, the staff searched for my info on their system but there was no such claim filed.

Long story short after going back and forth. I resubmitted the claim while I was talking to the staff and told him I just put a new claim in. He saw my claim, immediately submitted it over for review and will let me know tomorrow.

So, this afternoon I got an email confirmation that my new front suspension is shipped out.

I'm happy that they backup their warranty and treat their customers right, overall I'm happy and can't wait to get the new one on. I will miss the green color though, it was growing on me.

OME has been making their Nitrocharger stuff forever... but when they came out with the BP51 they had a lot of issues also. And the pandemic messed everybody up with supplies and substandard parts. I give Ironman good marks for at least taking care of issues... though they have made some dumb goofs.

One thing that would bother me is if these shocks were wearing out and leaking, but I haven't seen a single case of that yet.

Ya... I hope somebody takes them down as low as they go and gets good measurements. Their "standard" may be around 3" which might give some room to get there. Removing one of the collars from the passenger side and using loctite and set screws to keep it there should do it. Speaking of screwups... it's like they fired all their engineers after initial design...

The issue with the control arms is that the ball joint will make noise after about 6 months, they have an updated joint and will have them back for sale shortly is what I was told, if you have one that makes noise they will take care of it, so fingers crossed I got one with the updated joints!

Finally got the lift installed and aligned, it really rides fantastic, it absorbs bumps like nothing and feels really stable. I removed the front sway bar at the same time, I couldn’t feel the difference.

Any chance you could measure how much lift you got? Axle to fender distance is good.

That’s with no front bumper installed, I have a ~100lb bumper going on in a couple weeks, hopefully it’ll settle 1/2” or so.

How much lift did you get with the stock bumper?

I installed the lift and removed the bumper at the same time, so I’m not sure. The stock bumper isn’t that heavy, so I’m sure it would be negligible.

Finally got the FCPs installed this past weekend. Went with the JBA UCAs.
I finally found a wheel design I was sure about (Black Rhino Rapid in Bronze), but it's on national backorder so rather than going for the second choice, I decided to keep the stock ones for now.
Ordered Spidertrax 1.25 inch spacers and Toyo Open County RT Trail tires in 285/75/18.

Firmer than the stock Bilsteins, not boaty any more. Liking it thus far.

None. The ride is pretty planted.

I think there is some confusion about the meaning of terms; when we are talking about suspension, "bouncing" means it's underdamped... like a pogo effect after hitting a bump. The FCPs are at the other end of the spectrum, where the ride is firm and never bounces... loads of damping.

I can definitely feel small bumps more than I could with the stock shocks; I'd wouldn't call it harsh, but you aren't isolated from the road. The response and control over larger bumps and offroad is a huge improvement. Also, the handling is much better (especially when hitting bumps in a turn), so much that I removed the swaybar and don't miss it at all. Poised, planted, controlled. No wallowing or other weird motions. It makes the truck feel nimble and athletic.

I’m loving mine so far, lots of damping, even just the curb up to my driveway, no more bounce like there was with my 5100’s, the stock shocks are atrocious compared to these

Spring is just starting to hit the shock body on the passenger side, driver side is close but not hitting yet.

I would reach out to them, to see if your claim went thru. When I put in my claim, I waited for two days, never heard from them. So I reach out to them via online chat to see if they did received my warranty claim, turns out they never did.

So as I was talking to them I resubmitted a new claim and told them right there and then, they checked and they submitted my claim. Told me I would hear back tomorrow afternoon. Afternoon came by got a shipping notification from them.

To compensate for the famous Toyota lean on a fully-adjustable coil-over.....adjustable one side or another to level it out. It requires purchasing the adjustment tool.

No not all. Many are adjustable to the lift you want that is applicable to that shock. You'll see them advertised with lifts from ex: 0-3". Yes, some use snap-rings. But many are adjustable. Hence, dial out your 1/4" Toyota lean.

This a Tundra Ironman suspension thread, and the FCPs are adjusted from the factory to correct the lean. Your post... out of the blue... isn't relevant for these shocks. If you'd like to pontificate about correcting for lean in general, there are threads for that... or start a new one.
