I would hope so as they rereleased the setup, I like the black springs vs the bright green ones

I hope so… they’ve had 8 months to do so.

Here's an update or at least what I currently know because of my current situation. Back in Dec I decided to order everything I needed for the pro kit minus the coils for my tundra after talking to the people at Ironman. They assured me that the coils would be available again soon in the next couple month. The pro kit became available again recently but had no option for purchasing just the coils. I reached out to find out why. A day later they sent me an email stating the coils would no longer be available to purchase separately. The website has also removed purchasing the pro shocks separately. I was obviously very disappointed and called letting them know how this now makes my purchase in Dec useless. I am currently waiting for a response.

I don’t see why they would leave you hanging with an incomplete kit. Unless their customer service is that bad

I’m glad I returned my shocks then, they told me that the coils would be available when I purchased mine.

Update: I have been in contact with customer service at Ironman. They have offered to sell me the front shock assemblies preassemblied for $980 and I would need to return the front shocks and shock tops that I had ordered back in Dec. (My additional cost would be about +$300) What still has me worried is why do they no longer offer these parts separately? Do they not trust us to assemble them? Is there still an issue with the coils? I feel that if these coils were redesigned properly then they would still be sold individually. This makes me feel as if they put a bandage on these coils and haven't truly fixed the issue. Only reason I heard back from them with an offer was because I had requested a full refund for my order. Not truly sure if they would even give me a full refund at this time. Any thoughts about the updated coils or situation?

It wouldn't hurt to ask them what has changed.

After all this time of not even selling the coils, I'd hope they got the situation figured out. Even if they are the same damn coils and perches with a new paint job, surely they know how to assemble them properly now!?

Still love the ride of mine... good shocks if you like firm damping, planted feel, great control, both on and off road.

I talked to Bubba today and finally have a replacement set of the new FCP coming! I asked what has changed and he didn't know. Hopefully they arrive soon and I can update you guys on any noticeable visual or ride quality changes

I'll be curious about how straight the coils are, and if the spring dimensions are the same as before...

I had reached out a few weeks ago about my coils being bowed. I was told I would be put on a list with their replacement . Well… I got a replacement in the coils are different.

Different coilover spring and lower spring seat. Haven’t really had time to look at them but I took a picture for y’all.

I believe the original problem was the spring and shock were too thick and were not really compatible.

No, the problem with the earlier version was that the perches and spring ends didn't result in perfectly linear support... so you would usually get a bow.

Wow, thanks for posting, very interesting! Looks like the bottom perch (aluminum?) is totally flat now, and and the bottom of the spring is ground flat too. Is the top ground flat, or is it the same as before? Probably the same as before, as the isolator looks the same.

Looks like the number of coils is the same.... can you measure the coil wire diameter with a caliper by any chance? It's likely the same too.

Except... wow, there are hardly any threads left at the bottom of the collar, so you would not be able to go much lower. Do you know what lift these are for?

It's not unusual for shocks to have no isolator on the bottom and aluminum perches aren't weird either... so I wouldn't expect a problem.

I decided to go ahead and order the new updated FCP coilovers and just received them today. I will be returning the old unused ft FCP shocks and tops for a refund. Before I return the old shocks I decided to see the difference. I took a side by side comparison photo in case anyone was wondering. I hope to install the new kit soon. Went with the stage 2 kit in Med. Also just found that my steering rack bushings are shot and will be replacing them with ES bushings. I thought I was going crazy at first because my steering wheel wouldn't stay centered.20230301_180945.jpg

I love how straight and centered those coils look...

Are those regular or extra load coils? What lift are those set for? What is the length of the exposed threads at the bottom?

That new unit looks worlds better. The lower collar design looks much improved.

Hey guys, I just found this thread. Way late to the party I guess. it mentioned Ole Man Emu supension. Here's my 94 LC with an OME suspension and my 17 Tundra with an Ironman suspension. Some interesting thoughts. I put mine own in 2021 and only have 14k on it but I like it, I like it alot. The longer I drive it the smoothers it get. It was pretty tight when it was 1st installed but everybody that gets in my truck says it's has a nice ride.922AB40B-D538-429F-8B0D-36A8BAA6C24D_1_201_a.jpg IMG_5081.jpg I saw

An attention to detail that I’m stoked to see! Driver side coil has significantly more preloaded than the Passenger side, to accommodate the Tundra lean
