I had this setup in my Tacoma and I loved it. Tech Deck and two ram mounts, one for phone, a tablet for the other. I would use my tablet for mapping when I would go off road.

    Very nice!
I have seen the ram mounts in action personally. 2nd gen taco as well. performed and was very stable.
The mob Armor mounts are really cool too. Little pricey, but definitely built for the off road enthusiast.
What app do you use on your samsung?

I was actually using the backpacker app. I was using it already for backpacking trips so I went with what I knew. There is a record function, so you can record your own tracks onto the map. It would record time, distance, and elevation as well, so it was pretty useful.
