I have a 2021 Platinum that came with the invisible bra (3M maybe?) on the hood. What are your thoughts on the benefits of the invisible bra? I ask because I was power washing some sap off tonight, concentrated on a spot, thought it was sap, turned out to be a hole in the material. It popped the material off the hood, so now there's a big bubble. I'm assuming I should just take it all off?

Yup,, I would,,, get a hair dryer or park it in the sun and peel off taking your time. I like having it on the front of the vehicle it helps with the dings caused by rocks and armored plated bugs doing 70 when they crash into your vehicle??

How large is the blister? If it’s small like said earlier, just blow dry or leave in sun.

Thanks all for the reply. The bubble was bigger than my fist. There was not way to get back to a normal state. I ended up pulling the whole hood covering off the truck.

You will thank yourself later for having done so. I had to remove one for a customer that had been on the hood of their minivan for many many years. It was so dry and brittle, it came off in a million little pieces.....what a great day that was
