SICKKKK! Thanks dude. Is that last photo the clearance from the small mud flap under the fog lights?

No, that's the larger mud flap and cab mount, I altered part of the flap so I could reinstall it.

Oh okay the larger one behind the front wheels? And would you say that I might not need to modify anything? I know you put some things back that's why haha

Yeah the one behind the frt tire, if I was you I'd just pull both flaps prior to getting your tires and when back home see about clearance issues, that pic is at full lock btw. I believe I did need to modify that flap as it would have rubbed where it covers the cab mount.

@Casper3 Just when I thought I wasn't a rookie anymore... So the 5100's aren't the same middle setting as 6112's (which I thought all this time). Your opinion, do you think if I have the 5100's w/ stock coil set at the middle setting (1.57 in.) I'll be able to clear 285/70 on 18x9 +25 offset? I don't mind heating up the plastic and removing mud flaps but the CMC...

Honestly, I can't answer that as I have no experience with the 5100's. But you might be able to add a coach builder shim on each side to get the height your looking for. Not sure what you're plan's are for rear of the truck if any? 2" lift is basically level but will be nose high with any decent amount of weight and/or while towing. I'm running coach builder shackles in the rear as I still wanted some rake since I tow a trailer often.

@SmokeyTT you are going to be close with that I think. I know mine is a 2nd gen, but I had to remove the rear front mud flaps on my truck due to rubbing, and I'm with a +25mm and 275/70/18, about an inch shorter than those 285's. I wouldn't think you would need to do the CMC, but most likely will have to move the liner, mud flaps, and possibly trim/bend the skid plate corners. All trucks are slightly different though. I'm just curious, why not go top setting on the 5100's?

Cool. If I go top setting which is a little above 2”, do I need to worry about issues with the coil or shock when I go off-roading? I only see sand and a few rocky trails. I’ve done these all on stock suspension before though. Just worried because somebody mentioned something about preload. I’m okay if the ride is a bit stiffer but is there anything else?

That’s what was keeping me from going to the top setting but I wouldn’t mind it haha

I think you are fine. I think the ride will be a bit stiffer but you should be good to go on those shocks with the stock coils.

Awesome. I’ve seen horror stories of all different brands of suspensions that have bent or snapped but I guess that can really happen with anything. I’ll be going top setting! Thank you for your help. I’ll post pics once it’s done
