I received my F & R TRD sway bars as well as the Diode Dynamics lights; LEDs showed up with no shipping updates. Stillen intake should be here Friday.

I will play around with the location a bit but I clamped them up just to see what they look like. I may even need to make mounts for the larger ones because they fit so tight.

I received my Stillen intake today which I was excited to install but one issue came to light very quickly. Now, I did consider this issue before buying the Stillen but I figured I would be able to come up with a solution somehow.
The Stillen's addition ram tube DOES interfere with the Radium dual catch can location. I am working out a solution but I still think this is a better option than going with a different intake.
    20210516_192712.jpg

While messing with the catch cans I decided to empty them which I haven't done since I installed them around 1,000 miles. This is what was collected in one can after 10,000 miles; the other side was dry. I'd say the catch cans are well worth the purchase.

Stillen intake is installed and I just finished up the replacement bracket for the catch cans. I'm happy with it but had to drill two 1/4" holes in the sheet metal.

I also just ordered the Kings 2.5 EXT, Icon Billet DJ UCAs, shackles, & necessary install parts. I got a lot of help from Robert with @BOSS4x4s. It has been a pleasure working with him to get the kit sourced and assembled the way I wanted it.

Love my icon UCAs with the Delta Joint. The feeling is amazing when you get your alignment dialed in!

I really want to do that hood vinyl on the part of the hood that’s closest to the windshield. I always get brutal sun reflection off that part

I look forward to getting them installed and hope I can find a shop that can do a quality detailed alignment.

I'm very happy with the hood vinyl. I had the same issue and solution with my Tacoma so I anticipated doing a TRD hood scoop and/or this.
I did it by creating the lines with 'wrap cut' and applying standard 3M Matte Black vinyl. It would have been easier with an extra set of hands but I did it all myself.

The Kings came in today. I'm way too eager to install these... my wife might hate me this weekend.

My wife knew I've been waiting for this so not only did she let me get it installed (last night & this morning) she even sat outside and sat with me.

I picked up some decent set of wheels & tires that are more appropriate for my setup. The offset allowed me to remove the 1.5" spacers and still sits wider than the Rock Warrier wheels. These won't be the permanent wheels but they'll be good for the time being.

It was a PITA getting the TRD lock lugs of after a local shop thought it was a good idea to use the key socket with an impact gun. I've always broken the locks loose with a breaker bar before using the key on an impact gun. They didn't have a good set of extractor sockets so they basically sent me on my way.
I called the local dealer with the key number and they said they had it so I went in and - yes, the part number was right - but the key was still wrong. They let me borrow their shop key but they didn't have any lugs to replace the removed TRD lugs. An hour or so later I got a call from the dealer saying someone was in trouble for letting me borrow it and requesting for me to bring it back. On my way back to the dealer I picked up some spare lugs and asked the dealer tech to remove the TRD lugs while I was there. They gave the task to junior tech who, again, use their key with an impact gun; wrecking their key. I ended up having to go back to the shop that sold me the spare lugs to extract the TRD lugs

I honestly haven't decided. I was considering keeping them for spares but I know they are kind of sought after.
I did consider having a shop convert them to wider beadlocks but idk what that would cost.

    I appreciate that!

Only $2,999.95... thats cheap, right!? Jk I don't know if I want to sell them at the moment but I'll keep that in mind. I'm just stock piling parts at the moment.

OMF Performance does it for ~$250 per wheel. IIRC they end up 1.5" wider, but don't quote me on that.

I've been real busy with life so this project got put on hold. It's been nearly 3 months since starting the rear bumper build but I made some great progress yesterday & today.

Thank you. I enjoy working with my hands and not looking like the vehicle next to me.

I can get some audio soon of the 24" but the tone will be a little off as I had to cut my tailpipes to dump at the axle; the tips hit the new bumper.

I finally got the mounts right for the Diode Dynamics SSC3 & SSC2 LED that I got for my front bumper. I picked up the "iJDMTOY (2) Y-Shape Dual Outputs H11 H8 To Deutsch DT DTP Adapters" so that I could utilize the OEM wiring. This is a very easy conversion.
Before changing anything I tested the H11/H8 side of the connector and found that the conductors were opposite of the OEM configuration so that was the first thing that I fixed.

    H11/H8 side fix:
    Mark BLACK
    20210806_121805.jpg

Use a small screwdriver or pin tool to release the pin retention tab then swap RED & BLACK.
    20210806_121857.jpg
    20210806_122021.jpg

After fixing the above issue, the SSC3 worked with no issues; 2-pin. The next step was to figure out the 4-pin connector for the SSC2; only 3-pins are used. The RED & BLACK pins are pretty straight forward which left the BLUE pin as the backlight feature. I plan to tap into the headlight DRL to activate this feature at a later date. For the time being, I used shrink tube to cover the bare connector.

    Adapting Deutsch connectors:
This is how the adapter looks right out of the package.
    20210806_114347.jpg

To allow the wires to reach I had to cut back material the shielding material.
    20210806_122256.jpg
    20210806_122732.jpg

Since all of the wires being changed are RED & BLACK, I only needed to identify one so I marked BLACK before making any changes.
    20210806_114723.jpg
    20210806_122909.jpg

Using a small screwdriver or pry tool pull the end off of the Deutsch connector.
    20210806_114426.jpg

To remove the pins a small pry tool will need to pull back the plastic retention tab.
    20210806_123137.jpg

    Exploded view
    20210806_114818.jpg

Follow the same directions for the 4-pin connector and reassemble as marked.
