    More like a gimmic, cool factor and more things the auto manufacturer can charge you for something that you really don't need but you want anyways. Kind of like those fake hood vents on the I-Force Max.

    I guess if you drop a French fry, and you are the type to pick it off the floor mat and eat it, they could be useful. Otherwise, I tend to agree they are just a gimmick.
