Headlight revolutions in mine. A little pricey for what they are, but worth it. I originally had some cheap led light kit from eBay, there is a big difference between cheap and a little pricey.

I am also contemplating of upgrading all my interior lights with LED bulbs and have a question. Will the lights still "fade" to the off position the way they do now or is either on or off? I like the fading feature for some reason.

i use vleds for the interior. ordered 5k bulbs but didn't like them, seemed to have a slight off color than the old 5k lights they use to have. ordered 6k lights and those were closer to white than the 5k ones.

have them on the 2014 4runner and I think only 1 has gone out in 4.5 yrs and that was the license plate one. also bought them for the 2012 Tacoma and transferred them to the 2016 Tacoma and not one died. they went with the 16 Tacoma when we traded it in for the 18 tundra.

Bought mine off of Amazon. I just picked the best seller. Paid $10 for a package and have some left over. Been in for a couple of months and haven’t had any issues.

I first bought a cheap pack on Amazon, I think it was $15 for enough bulbs to do the truck. I have since changed them out as they started flickering horribly and didn't keep a good connection. I didn't think the color bothered me until I bought some nice ones. I bought the Philips Crystal Vision LED's and ended up redoing them all, interior as well as cargo/brake light.

You can see the attached comparison picture at how much whiter and brighter the good bulbs are, and the picture of the inside with the good bulbs. Only thing, I wish the Philips bulbs made the little 74 bulb for the drivers footwell and glovebox. I have the stock bulb in the footwell and the cheap LEd in the glovebox. It hasn't bothered me enough to buy the more expensive ones from another vendor.

I used VLEDS everywhere (except the headlights, fogs and puddle lamps). And I used the 5K because I was afraid the 6K would be too blue or too bright. No problems so far except when I ordered the wrong bulbs for the front turn signals - they exchanged them quickly. Good customer service!

I second the comment about disconnecting the battery (or pull the inside fuse). It's easy to short the leads on the map light sockets and the rear dome light to the metal reflector shield. I blew a couple of fuses in the process. Mine did not come with a tool, but I just used a plastic trim tool and plastic tweezers.

you should see the horror stores on the 3rd gen Tacoma forums of people blowing out the body control module (this controls the overhead lights in the Tacoma) when they short out the front map lights removing the oem bulbs and putting in leds.

I see a lot of people ground out the reflector to a screw driver or needle nose pliers trying to remove the oem bulbs.

on the tundra, I just used duct tape to pull them out.

I guess it is always a good idea to put the switch in the off position before removing bulbs.

Most LED bulbs are polarity sensitive, unless you pay big bucks for them.
When reconnecting battery or fuse, about half will be on. The bulbs will have to be reversed. Probably should disconnect before reversing bulbs.

I can’t find a tutorial here to change the interior bulbs. See every other LED swap. I have never pulled out a lens in the interior. How do you get it started?

YouTube headlight revolution interior bulbs tundra, step by step. I got diode dynamics, they are bright and the price wasn’t bad.

If you have trouble with the 2 map lights, you can easily remove the whole head unit so you can brace/push on the clip from behind. That is also the fix if you push the clip’s retaining strip off its track.

The unit is held by 4 Torx screws, 2 visible in the sunglasses compartment and 2 behind the map holder that you pry off.

Off topic, I put the same canbus T10’s in our Lexus and they turn on by walking up to it with keyfob in pocket, before touching the handle to unlock the door. I honestly never noticed that before!
