I'm not sure if you guys have ever experienced swirls/scratches in the plastic of your instrument cluster.

I am super careful when cleaning my instrument cluster, always using a microfiber, but I have a plastic polish I use for my dirt bikes/ATV's that works great. I tried it on the cluster of a work truck and the polish made them disappear. I'm assuming it will be somewhat long term temporary as it is a silicone polish, but I thought I would share the product info anyway. This stuff is amazing on plastic. Aside from my cluster I don't use it much on my truck. I used it on the engine bay a.few times, it does a great job on those plastic covers.

    It's about $9.50/can.

never use anything but a Hanes white cotton T-Shirt. to prevent scratching lenses. Period.

I use SC1 on most of the dirt bike and recently started using Yamaha Yamacoat on just the plastics, even better than SC1.
Thanks for the tip on using SC1 on the truck, don't know why I didn't think of it.

Wish I had before and after pics of the GTO cluster I did...1970 GTO almost 50 year old dash cluster plastic I did with Mothers Mag polish. Got rid of the scratches, swirl and yellowing. It looked brand new after I finished. I use it on headlights, resin poured table tops to buff them to ultra clear and most anything plastic as it works that good.
